I just finished downloading the Initial D movie. I was just wondering if anybody here knew where can I get subtitles or translation for this. It wouldn't be worth watching it in japaneese...

I downloaded it a few weeks back, I can't understand a word they say but there's some amazing footage.


None of the Fast And the Furious bullsh*t, some sweet driving and the arial shots of the mountain were amazing.


I just wish mine had subtitles too.

Yes it is freaking cool.In fact it's my favourite racing anime/movie.In Malaysia you can get DVD-R rom for your PC...the entire Season in one DVD alone.WITH ENG SUBTITLES!!!!:D

In Israel. A DVD here cost about 50NIS which is abou 12USD...

I saw the movie during summer in Chinese, the storyline is somewhat different than the anime/manga of Initial D, but most of it is pretty much the same. Keisuke Takahashi isn't in the movie, but it's actual drifting, no CG or anything...

It's just amazing how they restored the actual mountain road and drifted on it...I'd love to drive on that

What confused me tho was that they used a Chinese cast to act a Japanese-based movie...but don't care, really. It's a great start for Jay Chou's movie career to be in Initial D...and also Edison Chen...that guys my idol:)

and btw, if you want the subbed version, then just check out Limewire (they have tons of dls)

I have the DVD with english subtitles, i heard theres one in english... Voice over or something... But the cars are kinda old, with the r33 and evo 6... but its kinda cool tt the toyota can beat all those cool cars...

I watched that Movie too...I love the last part...the Drift together...Sad Evo 4.....and the Middle Part....The Trueno and the Evo 5....cool...

Like I said before, the footage is just so sweet in the movie. I love tha mountain- so green, and that straight piece of road lined by green coming into the esses looks so good.


Stupid Cartoon Network here took the Initial D animated series off. I don't know when it's back on...

I love Initial D, I hope they create another movie...
Jay Chou was perfect for the role.

There were some weird mistakes from the movie..... certain things were against physics.... but Hey... it's the first drifting movie.

Oh, and I can't find Initial D First Stage Episodes 10 and up, I've only seen 1-9. Someone PLEASE help me out here, I can't find any torrents for the episodes I'm looking for.....

I have them on HDD but that won't do you much good I fear.
Still need to download the last few eps for stage 4 though.

There's Wangan Midnight, I know nothing about it except the fact that they have an arcade game. IT's called "Maximum Tune 2". It's better than Initial D in terms of performance of the cars.....
