Jan 05, 2006, 2:06 PM

Yeah, you can't really compare these two games since one is a simulator and one is more of an arcade racer.

If you wanna run from the cops and race short races, get NFSMW. If not, get GT4

MW is way too easy to play... Its just for fun... On the other hand the only time I really enjoyed GT4 was when I was playing it on this...http://www.tochigi-subaru.co.jp/topics/custom/040114/pic/c01.jpgIt was on the Athens Motorsport show last october... They only had the WRC car and you ran in Tsukuba... I did a 1:02 best time so far in the show... With the Playstation controller GT4 SUCKS!!!

You can drive Nürburgring and Corcuit de La Sarthe in GT4. That's enough!
Although the lap times are pretty damn unrealistic:(
You can beat Tom Kristensens world record lap time, even if you end in the sand a couple of times:lol:

Quick pick up and play - MW
other than that, GT4
MW is fun, cop chases are good but I like GT4 better. Two very different games.

the cop chases piss me off in NFSMW but i like the other things like the story etc as GT4 is a bit repititve but GT4 is more realistic and so hard to control unless you have practice (i have no ps2) and Gt4 has such an amazing choice of cars. so its difficult for me to decide

NFS most wanted because it's more realistic
I must admit that it'd be pretty cool if a game would offer spoilerkits and ricer wings on a T ford though.
Maybe they should just combine GT4 and NFS

GT4 is easy to controll if you have a steering wheel...
Especially the one with the 900 degrees turning ability...

Maybe they should just combine GT4 and NFSYeah! Drive a crazy cop chase in a GT4 car, with GT4 physics... A Pescarolo?;) - They need to do soemthing with the engime sound though. The Peskie had the best engine sound ever. In GT4 it sound like... yeah. wrong.

O,, then we're going to bug the game manufacturers for the perfect game.
Realistic racing tracks like Nurnburgring, driving in highly tuned oldtimers and supercars with big wings and spinners (to improve coolness and get the rarity bonus up) and neon chased by cops but with highly realistic physics engine and car damage and Forza style sound.
(I really do wish to see a ford model T with carbonfibre mirrors and roof scoop and a big badass wing, a turbocharged engine and nitrous express stickers on it chased over LeMans at least once in my life).
I'll see if I can photoshop one

Is it good? I have the previous steering wheel that was made for GT3 and I've already passed way more than half of the game.

Indeed.
GT5 better have some better sounds.
The RB26 Skylines etc. sound about right and so do many others. Not many V8's sound like a big V8 should, 'cept the Spyker, it sounds awesome.

^ Exactly, it's sounds puss in GT4.
Made me want to buy an EVO, so I did. About 5 in fact.

Jan 07, 2006, 1:10 PM
Both NFSMW and GT4 were recording the engine sounds straight from the cars. But i also though "What the heck!?", when i heard an SLR on Top gear, and then compared it to the Pachard-Bell-hum-engine sound in GT4...
parko1990
Jan 08, 2006, 11:55 AM
Yeah, but have you heard it with Racing Exhaust between 3 and 6000rpm-ish?
I think the most realistic sound comes from an R33 GT-R fitted with Racing Exhaust, also, for the C5 Z06 owners; Semi-Racing exhaust sounds best.
Spyker sounds great.
Also, in NFS: MW has anyone else noticed the resemblance between the [NFS: MW] Gallardo and [Real Life] CGT on the over-run?

ye gt4 is a great game and wery realistik, but the fact that u can beat tom kristensens world record time in almost every car is not realistik.
but i like nfswm more because of the thrilling cop chases and all the options when you tune your car.:p

Conclusion.
GT4 is best when you wanna drive some race with physics close to real life, on some of the best tracks in the world, - (Yeah, they forgot Spa) - with your all time favorite cars.
NFSMW is best when you want some fun, where you can race your riced up Punto against the brave police of Amercia. Without going to prison afterwards.
So...umm. Both games is needed, if you are a real car enthusiast!:D

its kinda unrealistic because the n2o can make it kinda too easy ......take a clumsy line round a corner nos and ure fine
gt4 has an edge to it....if u perfect it then gt4 is avery fun game

I just bought a black 787B and black Toyota GT-ONE, then won the BMW McLaren F1 GTR
By the way guys, this was a stupid comparison in the first place. One aims to be the best in realism and the other as a quick pick up and play arcade.
It's basically Realsim vs. The guys who can't drive for sh*t in GT4
I have both games, #4 on the Blacklist and 44.8% in my fourth GT4 game file.
They're too different to choose between.

Lenght is the best about GT4. I have been driving three 24 Hours race, and i've exited after 6-7 hours twice.
It's pissing me off that there's no darkness, and no more than six cars though.

ye and most of the time u drive those 24 hours u use that b spec..
hehe i have seen it..
i dont hope i am wrong
parko1990
Jan 12, 2006, 11:31 AM
24H is boring, I still haven't even bothered to do them yet in B-Spec.
I need to get my B-Spec skill up first though. I'm far more an A-Spec driver, no drivng aid, that's way I like it.
Even 20 laps in A-Spec is bordering on too much but I trudge.
And what about that Formula GT championship, that must be like 800 laps all up over the 15 races. Sheesh.
Tom Kristensen
Jan 13, 2006, 7:24 AM
^You can make the time run 3 times faster in B spec. But i'd only used it in the 24H Nürburgring. I drive the whole shite in the Le Mans 24H
parko1990
Jan 13, 2006, 10:38 AM
That's just ridiculously stupid, but then again- you are ridiculously stupid so alls fair.
I x3 the B-Spec speed in 20+ lap races.
Stuff that loooooong sh*t. I live for the 2-10 lap bracket.
