22k ?

Thats too high.

It does have low milage and looks pretty clean for a 66, but I dont think your going to get many buyers.

Yeah, thats a bit too pricey for a car like that. No offense, it's a really clean ride, but it's too costly.

Dah! It's a great price. I've only seen one Mustang for that price... And it had no engine.

Denmark :)Yeah:(
A Mustang like that one would cost about 40-55K$ Here. And it's even pretty cheap, because the worst taxes has been cutted off, when you buy such an old car.

no, im not. and how is it not a classic. its a sticker that can come off,how does that bring down the value? and NADA says this car is worth 28-30k. so not to shabby. you have to know what your dealing with, and i do.

clearly you failed reading class. " aslo have but not installed...." is what it reads. and for the car you have posted that is for sale, it is a coupe. dime-a-dozen. fastbacks are more rare for there was less of them made. and my car is not a V6, it is a 289 V8. k-code fastbacks are selling for as much as 30k+ right now. and thats even the non gt models. i mean im not going to sit hear argue with you about something you abviously know nothing about. glad you have a mustang dude, but i find it funny that every person who has one knows everything there is to know about them. thanks for your input tho.

oh get real dude, i never claimed to know jack about mustangs.

i do know that your car is not worth 22,000 when there are fully restored 66's out there selling for 15. im not saying its impossible, but ur car doesn't even look half as good as any of the restored cars buddy.

and thats my point about knowing your ****. a car unrestored with this low of miles in this excelent of shape, etc, is worth WAY more then a restored car. you are right my car isnt worth 22 its worth like 28-30 like i said. so before you go slamming some one on what you dont know, do some research kid.

TJ, he is right. That is a an averagely high end price for a fastback. Believe it or not a car that hasn't been restored is worth more! :eyeroll:

289 was fords high perfomance tiny v8 back then.. Think of it as a modular 4.6 in a Cobra or something. There were better cars but this is worth 20K.. As much as I hate 66' fastbacks, just a giant bubble on wheels.. But he will eventually get it, but I am sure he knows he is gonna wait on it. My suggestion to him is to remove the window sticker. He could take that to a dealer and get at least 15K for it.

Project?

Sell the other one, restore the Fastback and make/buy a G.T.500E kit for it. Then it will be worth alot.;)

A clone should be worth about 90-150.000. The real deal cost 160.000. But i'm not sure:confused:
