I am bored already lol!
Should be a good year, I hope Ferrari does it again!
Some of the new cars should start to be unvailed soon.

As of now I will be attending the race at Indy.:-)

Ha thats okay, we all have out teams, they are my second favorite....I hate Williams though.
Hey in 2002 even though Ferrari TOTALLY kicked ass, it got boring cause they had such HUGE leads, last year was awesome....it was anyones game until the last race or two!

I think you should all keep an eye on Williams in 2004, JPM will be pushing harder than he does already as he wishes to go to McLaren with the number 1 plate and provided the car is up to it, which I have no reason to doubt with Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head leading the team, a BMW engine and Michelin tyres, they will be the ones to push Ferrari.

McLaren would have a very good chance if they didn't have DC driving for them as he doesn't rack up enough points.

Montoya cracks under pressure to much....
He is no Michael or Ralf....or Kimi IMO.

And have anyone seen that new car from Williams. It's what you call innovative. And i do not like it. If this is what F1 is going to bee, i don't like it anymore

I'm not quite sure they care if the cars look beautiful in F1...

I thin its cool. I agree it doesnt look as graceful as previous models but i still like it. Anyways its not how it looks, its how it performs that boths me!

I'll agree the nose is ugly, BUT In F1 its about function NOT looks....:-)

CarRocker
Jan 09, 2004, 1:06 PM
Yeah, testresults say it is a fast car, and the only beautifull cars in F1 were the first cars.

Yeah, testresults say it is a fast car, and the only beautifull cars in F1 were the first cars.

F1 goes through periods of different looks, I hated the "high nose" period a few years back. I happen to think last years F2003 GA was a nice looking race car.

Yeah, "The Shark" was a great looking car. Those "gills" on the sitepods look great.

Each to their own opinion of course but I must say IMHO you're wrong.

Sure JPM is no MS but then I don't know anyone else who is, he's way ahead of RS and as for cracking under pressure ................. you say that KR doesn't

I think Honda is the only reason that Sato can drive for BAR now. I still think they are very stupid to replace Villeneuve for Sato

Villeneuve actually isn't a very good driver...

His problem was going to slow, crappy BAR.

I don't think so, he made alot of mistakes last year and was really disappointing.

So they all make a few mistakes, that sure as hell don't make him a bad driver.
He is on a crap team, for god sakes he won a F1 and a CART championship.

CarRocker
Jan 14, 2004, 2:41 AM
Yeah, Villeneuve is a great driver, and has a good style. And he is the last driver that says what he thinks. That's cool.
And maybe he isn't the best driver, but in 1996 his first year in F1, he got second. And the next year, he won. That's what i call a good driver

Well, perhaps he's getting too old (or bored?) for this stuff. :?

woohoo, i've just read that Rubinho has a new contract untill 2006 at the Supreme Dream Team( :D :D ) Ferrari.
Next thing that must happen is Jos "The Boss" Verstappen to Jordan. :D :D :D

Villeneuve is an awesome driver and imo he got bored cause of the new stupid rules in F1. So he says to himself: "We have the @ssholes here paying me a lot lot of money and i won once the WC. So why don't i play around with my little rocket (BAR F1 car), take my money and go home?".

jimkk29
Jan 15, 2004, 3:17 PM
In that case, he's not a true F1 driver...

I know it il be a long time coming but i want toyota to win. Good thing is im in melbourne and am going to the 1st round of the 2004 F1 chamianship as i did last year. i think toyota will do it soon as Da Mata had verry fast qualifing times last year. Didnt he qualify 1st or 2nd in one of the final rounds? Japan i think? :? [/img]

3rd on a LIGHT fuel load. They are getting better, but they have a few years before then can really compete.

Don't count on it, they ain't gonna beat Ferrari, Williams BMW, McLaren Mercedes Benz and Renault. Unless there is lots of attrition, maybe they can pull out a top 5 or 6.

And yes I have seen Letterman, two times actaully.
