Well out of the 3 you mentioned, id go with the m3. You could find a decent used one for about 20grand. Furthermore if you needed more power, you could buy some aftermarket mod's with the 30grand you saved instead of buying a z06. Unless you do some major track racing, then by all means get the z06, otherwise stick with a more noob car to get yourself more formilar with.

If this is serious, get a sports car but not anything that expensive, and race the **** out of it like everyguy who is into cars.... You want a good cheap race car, LS1, If you crash it, well big deal... You have two choices as far as sports cars go... The Camaro and the Firebird.. This will also teach you how to drive that vette, when your driving sideways on the highway, or put a car inot a brickwall like I did; you will learn to slow it down.... Oh yes dont get anything from the 60's or 70's no handling... The 80's well you could get a GNX, they are classic cars already...

I'd say make a project out of this first car, while you don't have a family to take care of, etc. You'll more often than not see project cars sold because "my wife says it has to go" or "baby on the way and it's too small." So get the fun out while you can. Buy something cheaper, get it in 110% condition, then modify the $%!* out of it. You'll be the talk of the town. If you got an M3, ZO6, etc. people will probably not like you becaust your parents shelled out the money for it. Find out how much they'll give YOU personally and use the majority of it for performance parts.

I had to buy mine...a solid $2100.

For a 1st car you want summin a lil more docile, and one thats not gonna cost a $h1 load to fix if ding it.... which you inevitably will. Why not wait till you're a better, more experienced driver before getting sumin fast?

Just a thought, use it or not....

Get something cheaper with less power like an S2000 or a Nissan Z car.
Wait till your more experineced before you drive one of those cars.
If you do get one of those cars get a 911 because the Z06 is meant to handle like $hit on less than perfect roads.

not only does the 911 handel very well but its also the safest.. ive seen them crash bad in their crash test on the autobon goin over 140 and the driver survived fine.. well make sure u got a seatbelt.

Come on man.Give this fella some respect.If I were you.....my 1st car would be something that is easy to drive.A BMW M car I suppose.But for us who are not as rich as you i guess our forst car would undeniably be a Jap car.A Civic or a City.
