This is for all of you who live in colorado and have an older VW. My uncle owns a shop called 23 Deluxe and sell parts for older VW's. He is also an offroad racing/ rail buggy fabricator and seller. He can get any part you need, and he also has a lot of knowledge. So please visit his web site at www.23deluxe.com for more information, and give him a call. He may also be able to get parts for those of you with newer VW's. Thanks.

They are popular here for some reason. I know about 10 people with one .I like the old school ones.

yeah, the older ones are good to fix up. i personally would like to have a karman giah that i would fix up, and make into a sleeper car

I wanted to drop a chevy 350 in one and make it a sleeper but bought my truck over the bug.

the best drag vws are the old ones, the new ones even with awd, arent as light as the Rear Engine VWs.
putting all the weight to the rear gives tons of grip, and when running high HP you'll need it.
so horay! for the old vws
boo! for the new vws

i agree, but id stick with VW power. maybe like a 1.8T, or something close to that, since you can customise the crap out of them. my uncle has that motor in his rail that he uses to off road race, and its really fast.

You know...this really isn't the place to advertise a shop, it's more like a place for selling cars, or car parts.
