Please post engines that were sold all over the world. :)

This might be a hard one.

3L
220PS @ 5800rpm
310kgm @ 3800rpm (thats about 302Nm)

have fun guessing :)

What the hell is PS and KGM?!?

jimkk29
Aug 06, 2004, 4:43 PM
PS = HP
kgm = torque (1 kgm = 9.81 Nm) (actually, it's kg x m: kilogramms multiplied by metres)
I don't know the conversion between kgm and lbft.

Attaus
Aug 06, 2004, 5:19 PM
I figured that much out, but whats the conversion from PS to Hp and KGM/NM to Tq? :-k

As a spin off of the success of the "name that car game" I am creating a "name that engine game" where the person posts the cubic inches/cm to the nearest whole number or further, and at least one of the specifications i.e: stock horsepower/torque, V8/rotary/flat-4 and has to give at least one tid bit per 24 hours as a clue... the others must guess one of the car companies that makes this engine...

I'll start it off with a very easy one: 427 cu in., Big Block V8... and we're off!

read the rules, when did they change, someone quote it plz..... cause I DID start this topic lol...

They never changed officially i'm sure, but I think this was way before my time here, and if it was that way, i think a lot of people (me included) would struggle, I cant work with cubic inches :? :?: means nothing to me :( (well a little bit, but not to guess an entire engine)
