I'm pretty sure that's right so....

IMO.. This one is pretty easy:

3.0L V6
320hp @ 6000 RPM
315lbft @ 2500 RPM
24 Valves/DOHC
CC - 2972

If you want a challenge.. Go for this one:

2.2L I4
143hp @ 5600 RPM
152lbft @ 4000 RPM
16 Valves/DOHC
CC - 2198

The JZ'sare all inlines, not V's. All subes are flat fours or flat sixes. Not inline. The firstone is either mistubishi GTO/Dodge Stealth VR4/TT engine. OR a 300ZX TT. The second one could be a few cars.

Here's One.
3.0 litre v6
DOHC 24v
220 hp
200 lb/ft of torque

I used to have the car this motor belongs to, so it's relatively attainable, although kinda rare.

igaboj
Feb 07, 2004, 11:56 PM
some kinda supra engine? :? maybe the older ones?

N.R.F.D.
Feb 08, 2004, 4:29 PM
not a supra. The motor is actually Japanese, but the car is not.
That should almost give it away.

If that's the case you are wrong, the engine is Ford, then tuned and used by Mazda and then tuned again and used by Ford.

1st of all, isn't that like 2.4 liter? and 215 HP

anyway, what i meant to say ask was, whats that torque in ft-lbs? :?

hellviper944
Feb 29, 2004, 3:16 PM
Don't Remember. All I know is the non turbo one wasn't worth even looking at... It had less HP than my first Porsche 944 and weighted a hell oh alot more. Took nearly a half mile to pass a car doing 7mph less at 70mph... lol

jimkk29
Feb 29, 2004, 5:00 PM
It is European, but none of those anyone has said. It's a bit difficult...
I don't know how to convert kgm to lb-ft but the torque is about the same as the 2.0lt S2000.

Yes, it is NA, while trying to copy the diablo, I guess the designer realised that if it is not modified here and there, everybody would screem it's a 1:1 copy. That's when the disaster began, he/she modified too much I guess. Okidoki, some more hints than:

- It's made in 1996

- 1633 kg

It's a Vector, its a Vector M12 more specifically, and igaboj is right since it's the same engine, Vector used the 5.7 V12 from lambo, and actually the M12 looks nice for me, the Vector W8 Twinturbo is nice too in it's own funky way

 , I did not realize the rules were that tight, My first entry in this game ended up with naming a car brand and type, not particularly an engine. But, yes, bullseye, itīs the vector and regarding your passion for vector : I respect that.
But, IMO, itīs ugly. Period.

I donīt have to tell Igaboy what to do I guess, he already did what he had to do.

Yes Vector (Vector Aeromotive Corp) was American. The W8 used a Corvette V-8 that was supped up and the M12 used a Lamborghini engine. They started in CA and then built a facility in FL and released the M12 in 1996.
