yeah but it would be a nice car to take to the track. Race pinks and make others mad. ALthough, what cars you win will cost considerably less than the fuel needed to power up this beast.

That isn't a scam. Im 100% positive. First of all, there are tons of pics. They are not photoshoped. Second of all, the price is reasonable. No MR2 would ever sell for even close to 18,5 stock. Thirdly, the guy sells auto parts, jet parts, and dragsters. Its legit, yo.

Vehicle Description
Everybody needs one of these, cleaning out the garage, this little car is so much fun, it is thrust powered by 2 GE t-58 turbines, has 4 fuel tanks, power steering, power brakes, fire detection, fire suppression, roll over protection, self starting and quick. I have taken this car to the salt flats twice, the first time it wanted to fly @ 140 mph, but after adding the spoilers and air dam it stayed solid thru 187 mph with a lotmore room to go. call me with any ???s @ 515-210-9400 or email me @ sheldahl77@aol.com (sheldahl77@aol.com) 20% due within 3 days of end of auction, cashiers check, money order, or wire transfer [deposit only by paypal] Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will include a towbar. Thanks
From www.gas-turbines.com (http://www.gas-turbines.com/)
The General Electric T58 is a free-shaft axial flow gas turbine. The compressor has 10 stages with variable inlet guide vanes and variable stators on the first three stages. The compression ratio is 8.4:1, it flows approximately 13.7 lb/s (11,000 cfm) @ 27,300 rpm. The combustion chamber is of the annular design. Two turbines drive the compressor and one drives the load through the rear at 20,500 rpm. Specific fuel consumption is 0.64 lb/shp/h. The engine weighs 350 lb [159 kg] and produces approximately 1,400 hp. With a 3.25:1 reduction gearbox this engine will produce 1,270 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.
1400 HP per engine....Holy hell I would like to see that thing moving on the salt flats

If you drive that thing you earn the right to be called Mavrick. I wonder if it comes with its own flight suit and Top Gun Soundtrack

True True. But i guess you'd have a hard time convincing your girlfriend to watch it, if there wasn't a steamy love plot... Sure its not the best movie, but its a classic none the less.
