I went to go visit my friend up at his college in Albany, NY...It's about 2 hours north of where I live. So I hop onto the freeway and I'm driving, the limit is 65 but everyone does 75-85, and it's pretty damn empty, so I give my 1993 Ford Probe 4-banger some more gas, I got her up to 105 and slowed down...But not because I was nervous, because a midnight blue car pulled up alongside me, a MINT condition 993 Porshce 911 Turbo...OH LORD!!! We drove alongside eachother at 95mph for about twenty miles and one of us would let the other in when a car go in our way. So I pull into a rest area, to get my leak-on, and he pulls over also, we talked a while and he mentioned that he does this every nice weekend...Then he mentioned that he had brand-new KKK Turbo's, and all sorts of goodies that'd put any current Porsche to shame, INCLUDING A GT2...so we said our fairwells and he peeled out, from his parking space, up the on-ramp, onto the freeway...all the while spinning his tires to 80 mph...goddamn that dude was awesome.

I love the 993 turbos. They're awesome! BTW, I saw GT2 drive by my house a couple days ago. One of the coolest cars I've ever seen.

Yah, 65 miles per hour but everyone goes 85, but i have a new story i heard in my art course (college student)-(gonna be 20 in four weeeeeeks!!!!)
Anyways, my friend (different one obviously) went to Boston to visit his lady-friend and he's walking along Newbury street, reallllly nice street...and he saw a crowd around two cars...one was a Ferrari 360 Modena, nobody looked at that one, cuz next to it was a BLACK McLAREN F1......HOLY STHISTITSELJTI!K

In Birmingham (michigan) late one night when I was heading home from my girlfriend's house, I saw Sergei Fedorov's Red Enzo Ferrari (that's the one he totalled) parked a few spots away from a brand new 996 GT2, and while I was standing there looking at it a 2004my Rolls Phantom pulled up and parked.

If any of you live in the detroit area, make it a point to go to the Jack Cauley Ferrari Dealership in West Bloomfield. It has more than 4 million dollars worth of inventory at any given time (not including Enzos...of which there is usually at least one)

(I know none of this was about Mclarens, so here's the kicker)
My dad's girlfriend lives in Kent, in England, and there are a few Mclarens in the general area. One day he and she were out for a walk one of the F1's pulled up to ask for directions. The guy was really cool and they ended up having the ride of their lives.

Wow, thats awesome, but dangerous. Boy, they must have given that guy somehting he really appreciated :wink: :wink: . Anyway, i like the story about the 993 turbo. Those have to be my favorite porsches besides the 959. As for the Mclaren, i would not be driving that on the streets of boston. I'd get mugged by some guy.

LOL, it was actually a BBC topgear road test introduction where they said something like "this is a sports car and this is a supercar" the skylien was not modified or anything it was stock to british specs.
