The following is a print-out report from the ECU readings of a Lotus Elise, when the guy took the car for a service for the first time.

Read this carefully, and you'll be impressed!!

Very intresting. Is it the same in every quite new car, or it's only in Lotus?

im not sure if every ecu is the same but they basically do the samething, tell the mechanic what happened while it was being driven by the owner.
my brother told me once that some hot shot guy came and had his s2000, he said there was something wrong with the engine. my brother found out it only have half a quart of oil and that it either needs 5 quarts of oil or oil needed to be replaced every 2000 miles not 3 or 4, (cant remember)
he also found out that the guy would constantly shift his car at 9000rpm!... ahhaa

keep in mind the ECU doesn't compensate for wheel spin in speed tests.
