Most Jensen Inerceptors built had 3 speed autos that came with the 383 or 440 engine suppiled by Mopar. Now would the equivilant manual transmission bolt in to the same hole?

BB Mopars used a New Process 4-speed (no close ratios available) known as the Rock Crusher, which should bolt right up with the correct bellhousing and clutch assembly. Since they were considered to be practically unshiftable stock under high HP, most fast Mopars ran 727B Torqueflites, which were practically unbreakable. Could real whale oil have been the difference?

Are rock crushers thick on the ground

Thick on the ground doesn't apply to Mopars.
