Diablo for the name alone. The Countach came in a verry close second. Notice how the engines get bigger with each car, a shame. Where did all that hardcoreness go?

Hmm

Diablo, with the Murci being a close second.

The Miura is a stunning car but I'd own it like a classic; that is, not drive it. Whereas the other two could be ragged to death any day of the week.

My heart says Murcielago LP640, but my mind wants the Reventon beacuse there's only 20 of them. So until me and myself have come to an agreement, I cannot come to a conclusion on which one I'd want.

I'd say the Miura, since it was an amazing piece of technology and way ahead of it's time, or the Reventon, which is also ahead of time right now.

How is the Reventon ahead of it's time? ( A serious question, not to doubt what you posted. )

The reventon is a turd.

the lp640 is a turd.

To me the Diablo is the best supercar of all time.

The Diablo for me, it was the last of the real Lambos before Audi came along.

Reventon. It’s the best looking inside and out. It's also has the best performance tied with the Lp640 except for the 10 extra hp.

countach goes second, a historic car.

Miura. It made me cry, and that's special.

It's fast too. :D

Awesome mahcine. The epitome of the classic supercar.

^ right on, right on! ;p

I like them all except for the reventon. It's not the worst thing that could happen, but it was just unnecessary. If it was promoted as a special kit murcielgo, limited to 100, and was half what it costs now, I think I'd like it alot more.

My thoughts when I read the thread title, before I even opened the link: "THE MIURA!!"

So yes, none of these quite match the original supercar in my book.

The Miura is a gorgeous vehicle that will remain timeless in appearance and desire. It would be simple to take the Miura, but I won't. I take the 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GT. It is perhaps one of the last, "pure" hell bent Lamborghinis to leave the shores of Italy. While the Murcielago and Gallardo are crazy in their own ways, I cannot look at them the same way I loot at the Diablo and cars before it.

So I will take the car that I had on my art folder in elementary school, the Lamborghini Diablo GT.

Diablo for me, last of the non-audi lambos. Countach in close second. A "traffic ticket specialist" in my area owns three of them, black, red and white. What a racket they make when they get going ; and no they aren't fieros with a kit on them, I've seen the engine, interior, etc.

Diablo SV easily...
It's the last Lambo with balls....
:D
The Countach was a close second though..

+1 but for me it was the Diablo which is my favourite supercar.

350 is beautiful, but I have to go with the newest Gallardo.

Of course, I think every car buff who is around the same age as me grew up drooling over the Diablo, lol.

Of the old school, it would be the Countach. Of the new school, the Gallardo, but I still prefer the SL over the LP.

Whenever I think of Lambo, the first two cars I think of are the Countach and Diablo. The Countach takes the cake because that's what I think of first. I don't like the newer ones like the Gallardo because a Lambo is supposed to be a biznatch to drive.....

The Countach and the Diablo are beasts, either one I'd tear up on the track or streets (?).

To me, they are both similar in a way. Though I'll go with the Diablo.

I'll take the Miura. I like the understated elegance of said car. Of course, if it came down to driving these things like a raped ape, the Countach would become an appendage to my body.

I think I'll have to say the Gallardo. That car is seriously good looking. I was driving to somewhere and I saw 2 of them. 1 was a drop top, and the other a coupe. They both looked mean and menacing. It's the baby Lambo but it's got teeth now.

But the Miura is positively gorgeous.

It's tough a decision.

Timeless shape, or modern era speed and performance? :(

I'd have to go with the Diablo. Its the best comprise between hardcore craziness and actual drive-ability. It still looks amazing and is much faster than anything I could handle.
Second choice would be the Muira, based on looks alone.

How come most half of the options are modern? Lambo put out just as many special editons and versions in the past as they do now.

If the Countach was put into the auto-show circuit tomorrow, it would look ahead of it's time. Seriously. That car still makes me go "what?" with all the slats and gills and those gargantuan rear tires. It's far from being one of my favorite cars, but it's definitely a memorable, recognizable, modern looking thing.

Still, nothing touches the Miura in the Lamborghini bloodline. It's so understated and saucy looking in comparison to the gaudy 80's/90's Lambos, and it honestly will always look good. Always.

But truth to be told, if I was going to own one, I'd own a Gallardo LP560.

So, I'm not voting.

When I opened this page, I did not scroll down.

I did not wait for the pictures to load, didn't even need them.

Give me the Muira S in Riviera blue. One of the sexiest cars around, and not just talking about Lamborghinis.

Well considering that I dont' really like any Lambo's I had to pick the one that I thought looked the best and that is the Gallardo. I mean if somebody offered me one (of anykind) I would take it in a heart beat but they just aren't my cup of tea.

On a side note one of my friends uncles owns a 350GT. I haven't seen it in person but I have seen pictures of it.

Miura - its a beast! Diablo is a close second, then the 350. I just love the styling of the Miura, and the engine sounds amazing :)
