I dont even know where to start i havent been on here in months but anyway my uncle came across a cheap 89 Mustang 5.0 convertible but the top is in horrible condition so im wondering where can a top be bought? Around how much does it go for?

There's a guy that I see around the cruising spots and at the track who just took the top completely off of his fox body and installed a roll cage. It looks pretty badass.

i'd look in a phonebook or somewhere for an apholster (sp?) in your area. you haven't really told us enough info either. is it a mechanical top or manual? if its mechanical, are the electronics screwed up?

If you are going to do this yourself, do it soon. The summer heat will make the material more pliable....It will really help

I helped a friend + his wife install an aftermarket top on a Gen I VW Cab.

The next person that asks me for such assistance will be answered: "No hablo (fill in blank)."

Thats totally badass but we need a top for the 2 days out of the year that it rains here haha

I really don't know. I havent seen the car but i hear that upholsterers are expensive

The install onto a Fox is not quite so difficult. In fact, I think you might be pleasantly surprised.

My last one was my 65 GT convertible..........next time I might just have it done.....it was a PITA

Ok so my friend has an 88 GT with rear disc brakes. What rear end would that most likely be? They didnt come stock with rear discs right?
