This is just ridiculous... how can he get that car with that money!! there as to be a lot of sponsorship behind those 50p!!!!

If anyones knows more about this please tell me about the story behind this video or from where does "this" came from.

with the Esprit it happened a long time ago, but he registered the car in his wifes name for tax and insurance purposes so it was all legal and legitimate.
I havent watched the vid but the first 2 secs of the clip told me the story.

^^of course! for 50p! I watched this video yesterday, and I think he mentioned something in the radio station that he works in, on air, that he'd trade his family for some famous hot celebrity, cant remember her name really, and his wife sold his lotus for 50p, a "buy it now" price on ebay, to piss him of for saying that on air.

what he did here is basically buy the BMW he has with the 50p he got from the lotus. he bought parts that were gonna get thrown away or something. i didn't entirely get it, but it something within those lines.

This has happened more then once, and has sense then become more of an urban legend where the car changes all the time. In Americaland it's usually an older Camaro or some sort of Custom Hotrod like a 32 Ford or something. This is also the reason why there are people who will actually believe an add on Craigslist where they are selling a badass car for dirt cheap only to scam you out of your money.

its just an advertisement. The guy makes a commercial for the tuning company and they makes the car for him for free. And all these tuned up 3 series... there are too much of them and all looks the same.

Tim Shaw he's a dj in the UK, he's abit of a shock jock (Howard Stern wannabe !) and he got fired from Kerrang Radio a couple of months ago.

Anyway yeah he was putting this car together when he was on nights on Kerrang Radio and fairplay to him. His wife sold his old Lotus Esprit for 50p because he said to Jodie Marsh he would leave his wife and kids to have sex with her and his wife was listening at the time and she put it on ebay straight away.

Personally I would have chosen a different car but hey that's me.
