It's called the Mastretta MXT.
0-60 in under 5 seconds, top speed is 150mph. 2140lbs with 240hp. It's a 2.0 liter 4cyl turbocharged engine. It also pulls a 1.0g out on the track twisteis.
Considering the fact that I love small sports cars and after analyzing this little car i'm going to have to say I love it! It go's on sale in late 2008. It's nice to have options besides the lotus.

Crap. O well, but it should be known that the specs posted are new specs. The old numbers were from the prototype. The Mexicans have apparently added a turbo.

Yes, mexMan loves this car.
I think it's ok, maybe it's still too kit carish but it all depends on the price it's being sold for.

The car is not all that bad. I actually like the looks of it but the interior needs some work.

I laugh at this statement not only because Lotii are basically untouchable in their class, but because this thing will be something along the lines of 60k. Yup, that is more than an Exige.
Whoever spends that much money on this car is either hemorrhaging or his name is Vicente Fox. Good luck and all to this new Mexican company, but you won't catch me buying this over a Lotus if I had the money and if I lived in the UK.
Speaking of the UK, why would you sell a NA car to the UK. You would think the leaders at that company would consider the US and Canada first, then outsource. Nice. Screwed before they started.
Mastretta MXT is the first car to be designed and built in Mexico
Boy oh boy, that delivery charge won't be fun.

Why pay it when it can just hop the boarder like the rest of them.:D

I was referring to the delivery charge the UK residents will have to pay to get that car. We won't get it so its not a problem.
But I see where you were headed with that statement. That is a very generalizing prejudiced statement as well.

no... It already has a turbo, I saw a test, and talked to the designers, it was already planned to add a Turbo, the Prototype model hasn't I don't know why...

Not bad I must say. Oh, now I remember this... It was posted awhile ago, but the specs weren't out yet and the specs aounds pretty good, but it will never be as great as an Exige. I want to hear more about this...

wow thats probably the most tasteless thing i have heard all week.
Who knows, maybe they will set a standard for new automotive quality. Japan will no longer make cars that never die =P jk It will be all mexican cars, wth high resell values, cheap repairs, and great gas mileage
