I found some new pics of the 911 and there's this woman posing with it. Usually I like the car to stand alone but I was interested in what Porsche considered attractive so I got a closer look. The problem is, she's almost elderly! Now I wouldn't expect some bimbo bikini babe since it's a manufacturer's photoshoot but I would think she might not be such a mom (or grandmother!) I mean, why not have a sexy 30 year old woman who is still intellegent and sophisticated looking but not so damn ooooold? I think it says a lot about who Porsche is marketing to these days. :-k

I think you misunderstand what I'm saying. They're obviously trying to appeal to a certain demographic but why not use a younger model? Most men are attracted to younger (25-35) women but far fewer want someone in their 50s. Unless you're 85... or possibly Driftster...

I don't see anything wrong with the lady in the Porsche pic. She looks like a normal human being with a sensible taste in clothes and vehicle. Furthermore, she looks like somebody who could have actually afforded that car out of her own savings. Nothing wrong with that.

IMO, car ads should advertize cars and not people and theis shot does just that. It's not like a car will come standard with a hottie in the passenger seat. Save sexy girl pics for off-color publications and personal ads where the person is the real focus instead of the car.

Its been covered already but I will say it again, Porsche 911s are made for those who are in their middle to later stages in life 40-60. The reason is because you don't have that much money earlier in life and you have the immaturity to "not" consider a classic like a 911.

Once you reach your middle ages, you see something like this and you tell yourself, you know, I've worked hard all my life, its time to enjoy myself with a brand new 911. The woman is there to show that when you are at that age, you expect to meet a woman with class, not a woman with big ole titties and a thong smaller than a praying mantis.

I agree about not liking most models. It is not in fashion, but I do not like the extremely thin look. Most models have a figure like a 12 year old boy. Apparently I am not alone because when I do occasionally see playboy, I never see women with ribs showing, and most of the women in there have larger breasts. while I am not a huge Pamela Anderson fan I find it quite profound that she is still so popular at 40 years old.
