Hamann has released its latest performance and styling kit for the E92 BMW M3 Coupe, boosting performance of the high-rev V8 engine as well as adding a lift-reducing bodykit and brake package. The Laupheim-based tuner has been modifying BMW’s since 1986 both for motorsport use and personal individualization of road-going cars, and now this wealth of experience has been put to use for the latest M3 tuning kit.

The first level of tune lifts the standard output of the V8 (420hp and 400Nm) by 20hp and 25Nm of torque. This is achieved by an optimized ECU remap, which also removes the stock car’s speed limiter.
Another performance kit is called the ‘Sportkit HM/M +35’. As its name implies, the modified engine has an additional 35hp and 48Nm. In addition to the ECU remap, this stage of tune also has a stainless steel exhaust system. With the speed limiter now removed the car will reach a top speed of 320km/h.
Improving airflow around the car, Hamann has added front and rear spoilers, new side skirts and a shapely roof spoiler. The final touch to the exterior is a set of one-piece 19in alloy wheels finished with a high-gloss INOX stainless steel lip.

I think it looks good and i would go for it. But i wouldn't take these rims. I prefer the big stock ones!

I like It. Nice bodykit, very subtle. And i also like the BBS style rims. They allways look good on a BMW.

When I saw the thread title, I was thinking this would not be good. But I was pleasently surprised. It looks great. The only thing that I would remove is the rear-windscreen roof spoiler. But I can go both ways on that; it is not tacky or tasteless. I just think it makes the rear-half of the car look too boxy; it doesn't blend well with the curvy lines of the E92.

The bottom line: a blacked-out M3 with some extra ponnies is not objectionable to the senses.

Nicely done. Hamann did an excellent job with the new M3. The rims actually look very good on the M3, nice and clean. Not all that other crazy stuff we have seen Hamann through the last year...

Aggressive design is welcome to the already strong, cool M3. Even though I like the stock looking, I like Hamann work more than the others & also there is a power upgrades, which sounds very good.

Not liking the wheels though.

Those wheels and the trunk lid/rear windscreen spoilers look like crap. If I had to live with one, it would be the spoilers though. I absolutely hate Hamann's ugly rims. The front spoiler looks nice though.

Still, stock please. You can keep your horsepower upgrades if it has to look like that.

I think that it looks pretty good. The wheels aren't the greatest, but other than that, it's a good looking car. I like what Hamann have done with the M3.

This looks really good, Thats what I like about Hamann, the mods aren't highly different to stock and just makes the car look more aggressive, a great look for the M3.
