So knowing those facts:
Alfa: Bmw:
3.2 V6 3.0 L6
250 hp 255 hp
300 NM torque 300 NM torque
0-100 km/h 6.3 sec 0-100 km/h 6.3 sec
FWD RWD
the price is quite similay i guess.
Which one would you choose and why? And wich do you think is a better sport car?
I for one would choose the bmw. But is a tough choice though.

I attached a file.If it doesn't work then : http://www.alfa156gta.jp/images/title/car.jpg
for me it's a bit hard because the gta si already a sport tuned car. The design is more agresive but it had it's weak points like retail value, reliability and so on..

I would take the Alfa just because it looks better. The BMW has a little bit more power and is probably a better sports car, but I don't like its design.

The brain tells BMW, the heart Alfa. This is a hard one for me right now i can't make that decision maybe when i will be enough rich to buy one of these cars i will choose, but i can tell that BMW is better sports car. It has RWD.

i'd take the alfa, i think that it looks really cool, probably since i've never see alfas

this is a truley hard decision for me. the alfa has the classy sophisticated look. the bmw has the name and the obvious quality that comes with every bmw. it would take a lot of test drives and many opinions from my friends to finally decide. i think i would probly go with the bmw because as the alfa i love the looks but i also love the strait six and the interior of the bmw a lottle bit more than i do the alfa. the interior accually quite a bit more, but because there are some bmws in my family id probly go with the bmw. my brothers 1989 325i convertible bmw (used to be my grandpas) has 214,000 miles on it and it runs perfect. the only thing that ever had to be replaced in the whole cars history was the clutch after about 150,000 miles. im sure the alfa wouldnt even come close to that.
i just wish that alfas were sold in america. they used to be sold here but because of low sales the stopped. that shows me how stupid the american public accually is.

Both are good looking cars and while the Alfa has a new and interesting design, along with a sophisticated interior and polished performance to match, the fact of the BMW being RWD makes a pretty significant difference. The BMW, to quote C & D on the Quattroporte, "Beguilded us in a soft light, sernaded us with divine music, and whipped us untill we giggled. Holy Christmas, we lost our minds. It Wins." Here are the interiors:

The 330i, obviously. The alfa has a better design, but the it will always be italian trash.

The BMW of course...
Looks better IMO (coupe version), handles much better, similar straight line performace, RWD, much better quality, classier, and drives AWESOME.
About the Alfa, I like the design and the sound of the engine, but that's just about it...

I have no experiente with alfas or very little with bmws. Anyway it is clear that the bmw comes with better build quality but i sat both in 156 gta and 3 series and even m3. All i can say is that the alfa had one of the best hugging sport seats i have ever come across. Better even the seats from the m3 (don't know if that one had the lombar support option). Anyway i still choose the 330i especially for the rwd because it's a bmw and whatever jim said there. But in now way i would call the alfa a junk car like someone did...

I would choose the BMW 330 over the Alfa (but only marginally). This isnt just a blank statment of unjustified opinion.
The reason for the BM is:
1 )RWD. (as most you would know Putting a V6 into a FWD makes an unbalanced car and giving that much power, and more importantly Torque through the front wheels will give it some serious power-down issues). Especailly when turning.
2) The quality and reliablilty would be better than the Alfa.
3) If i buy the BM, i'll be sure my car would be worth a lot more than the Alfa in a couple of years time.
My reasoning against the BM is:
1) I prefer the V configuration over the straight 6. IMO it sounds better.
2) I'm not sure about the new styling of the BMW (havnt seen the new BM in real life) but the Alfa has a LOT more presence compared to the BM. i.e BMs are everywhere.
Figures like accelleration and top speed dont mean much to me. I wont buy a car only becasue it'll get to 100kph in 0.2sec faster than the car besides me. Obviously i WOULD mind driving a car that'll would take longer to get to 100 than me writing this post....thats besides the point.
Anyways. Here's my 2cents.
my vote goes to the BMW 330i (Ci would be even better)

I take the BMW 330. The Alfa is good looking but that's it. There's no way it can perform like the BMW. The 155 oversteers alot. And there's one last thing in favour for the BMW. This is the latest generation of thechnology in german cars we are talking about.

my vote goes to the BMW, even though the alfa has a most agressive and fresh look than the BMW the quality of the interior is not that good. the BMW is a robust car it looks sporty and elegant at the same time. both cars have almost the same performance that`s why my decision is focused mostly on style and quality.
