That show's going to be as much of a joke as the old one was...

I have a few "in the flesh" photos of the new KITT car in my gallery. One of the pics had both a more conservative Mustang and this one but the other photos were just of the more conservative one.

As long as the Hoff is still in the show it should be the best thing ever. If he's not, it's just gonna be a stupid big ol gay pile of garbage that should have never been made because they already tried to remake this show with a Dodge Viper and called it, "Viper" and the show wasn't actually all that bad anyway and they really should just remake THAT show with another Dodge Viper and who knows maybe even call it Knight Viper Rider.

I hate TV writers.

I think it'll be cool, if you youtube the new series, it actually looks pretty slick imo!

If they producers want to keep as much originality as possible. They should find an old firebird and make that KITT.

From what I hear, it's just going to me a made-for-TV- movie. So I'm not keeping my hope's up on it being good. As for the car, no thank you.

The front does look like a mess.

I only watched a couple of Knight Rider shows on the TV but,

HOLY ****!!!

That.is.downright.****ed.up.disgusting.

(sorry for the language, but gawd ...)

And I thought the original KITT was bad enough.

1) The dual fog lamps... WTF!?!
2) The eyelid thingy on the headlamps are fugly
3) The dual spoiler is really nasty
4) and this show will be nothing without Hassle-the-Hoff.

Apparently the Hoff is supposed to be in it, but he is giving up his position for some new guy.

That note aside, I like the look, (the small fins by the headlamps got to go though). And I can understand the choice for the Mustang, since it will be cheaper to throw around some duplicates whenever the "Turbo Boost" is used.... :D

I don't like it. I think it has too much technology and this stuff. Hm. It's not so good. It could have been better!

After reading some more on this upcoming move (Feb. 17 on NBC), I found out that Maverick05x's post if partially correct. The car in fact does not have all the extra bodywork in "normal" mode. Which looks like this:

You guys know that they are giving away a Shelby GT500KR during the show right? Yeah the show may suck, but for 540 horsepower, I'm gonna be all over that! Go to the website or something for the details.

I think the TA should be the vehicle of choice for a remake of the show. Now we all know it's not built anymore and a new car is going to take the spotlight for sales boosts, Ford needs help fast but I feel like it's like remaking the Dukes Of Hazard with a new version of the elusive Trans Am, it doesn;t seem to work for me and I remember the show as a kid and even had a kitt car toy that talked haha.

IF they were going to do the show right it would seem like they would get another firebird, or at least the new camaro ..

I watched the movie and have to say, it was kinda cheesy. The car was great for sure, but most of the movie seemed like a ad for Ford. I wouldn't mind having won the car, but I'm not 18 for 3 months. DAMN!

The interesting fact is that one of the Mustang in that show is actually radio controlled for up to 1 mile radius.
