I found an older pic, one of the first I took with my own camera, which is pretty cool me thinks. A Seat spun in the rain, turned the car around, got a little off the track, into a big mud puddle was located, et voila:

Its on the back window of a super-mini. I don't know exactly what engine it had, but it definately wasn't stock.

I think there's going to be some tough competition this time.

Here's my entry, I took it at the BMW dealership near me when my car was in for service. They were kind of watching me, but I wasn't really hiding anything about taking photos, as they should be proud of their BMW's, right?

breakFan, how are you able to consistantly post incredibly high quality action shots from big ticket race events?

I'm not trying to call out, but you're work is awesome, and I just like to know how you're able to get all those fantastic shots.

Thanks a lot for the compliments. I think the main reason is where I live, there's lots of motor-sport and car related events that take place throughout the whole year. And I make an effort to go to as many as I can.

Don't forget though that the rally is not something you have to pay to go and see, as long as you're up for the 3 hour walk, it's totally free. Plus I've been going for like 8 years so I think I'm starting to get better at taking pics. And the camera is awesome, and I had that fantastic zoom (Sony DSC-H3).

I want to become a better photographer, I think some of my pics are decent, but there's still loads to improve on.

Well anyway, I'm glad you like my shots (all the rest of those rally ones are in http://sportscarforums.com/f17/rally-monte-carlo-2008-col-de-24627.html , in case you didn't know ;)).

Forget where exactly it was, my dad and I went on an exotic run though NJ, NY and CT one day like a year ago. My dad's GT, BTW

And to get the pic, easy. Roll down window, lean out, and click ;)

Sweet. I love the Tri-state area, some of the best driving roads are up there.
