time to bring forza 2 back off the shelves and get everybody playing again.
Just like the previous competition where the fastest lap times wins this is the same but you can use any tuned car you wish aslong as you tune it yourself and dont download somebody elses set up. please be truthful to yourself and everybody else by tuning the car yourself.
We all know how the muscle cars dominate n a straight line while keeping a low class so use any car newer than 1980.
Track: Nissan speedway.
Class: C
Car: Anything newer than 1980.
Ill make a list of times and who has entered, please post a pic of your score or i can check the scoreboards on xbox live if you are on live.
Get the best possible laptime you can to stand a chance of winning.
Good luck and may the best man win!

Just did a 53:698 in a 2006 Charger SRT8, C549 P.I.

rolling start

I find this competition funny because I never tune my car, and I always smoke bitches. I don't have a cam so I won't be able to prove anything in this comp because LIVE will only record your fastest lap time for that category. So if we come back to the same class, it won't matter, at least in my case. I'll see if it works though.
But for the fun of it, and because unlike everyone I haven't put down Forza yet, I will see what I can do.

I haven't played Forza in quite a long time. Although this challenge sounds nice. I'll give it a go.

so, i dont really understand, rolling start = flying start? if not, what speeds? and err, we could do anything to the car just that it dosent exceed the C class range, yes?
im in, if i could ignore all that Forza 2 freezing now and then...but yea, i think im in

I also managed a 51.9 something in a CTS-V, might be able to improve though.

52.22X in an FC3S, class C550, no tuning (only managed about 10 minutes of gaming yesterday due to having to build an incubator for fishfood as well)
I'll see if tuning manages to improve on that. Gearing isn't that hot and in the first corner of the track I lose some speed.

How's that for proof?
Did not manage to drive a faster 2nd lap then a 51.475 with the FC so I changed for the heavier honda.

A bit of luck might've helped.
I missed the running board by a hairs width for 7 consecutive laps (fastest lap still lap 2 though since the dog distracted me all of the following laps)

I remember doing all the Class C with an Audi TT....
some one try that thing out, I know that it sucks at braking, but the All wheel drive might help.

thats my point, the chargers, corvettes and camaro's pwn that track in low classes, making new cars only makes it harder.

Who needs brakes on Nissan speedway?
Only found out that all wheel drive, toe in/out definately slows down the car on straights and camber of over 10 degrees slows down in corners

I have a feeling Monkey wasn't talking about the muscle cars anyway. I'm thinking some of the old Ferraris. '64 GTO perhaps?
