Since last comp didnt work very well and there wasn't really a frame to work with, here's this months comp. I didn't have time to draw a totally new frame, so i used my Enzo Ferrari as the frame.

Rules

atleast some parts of the original work must be shown.
you can add anything possible. (new rims, bodykits, decals, color, rear spoilers, decals, etc.)
All parts must be drawn by yourself. No real pictures of items can be added unless they are decals.

Kaoss, you're gonna have to remove those rims. No REAL pictures of anything allowed except decals and ads.

I'd...like to enter, I really would, but at the risk of sounding like an ignorant moron, I don't think it would do the competition any favours.

That's not to say that I'd automatically win though, but I don't want to submit something that I've spent hours on just because I am able to.

Timbit it doesnt take long to look nice... Look at my entry, it only took me 4 hours to add a wing, splitter, rear view mirrors, diffuser, roof scoop, brakes, and carbon trim.

If I were to do it, I'd ensure I do it to best of my abilities, or else there's no point entering.

Well then you can set a time limit for yourself to ensure actual competition with others, but I still can't wait for you CityScapes.. :D

I have absolutely no idea. I just used MS Paint.

Save it onto .PNG format. That should do it.

How do I do that?

^^ You open up your picture file and click save as.

At the bottom of the box that popped up, there should be 2 spaces with words on it. One is for the name of the file. The one below it is a selection of formats that you can save it in, and it SHOULD show .PNG format and you click that and then click save. It should save in that format afterwards.

SKR, you can't just save the .jpg file as a .png and have everything be hunky-dory. The jpg has already compressed the image to hell permanently.

You're gonna have to redo the image and save the original image as a .png to get a small size but good quality image.

4 hours! i only spent about an hour on mine.

just spent 30 minutes on it, still working on it...all paint lol

EDIT: so, after another 30 minutes of work and 15 more minutes staring at it, and seeing that the enzo isnt really a tuner's car, so, here...im tried, im bored, exams are boring, so i basically copied abit of you guys' work, just abit, ideas to make me not that bored, heck, here:

shortened the car, extended front bumper thiny and diffuser, added some more stuff, changed colours, fixed rear light, brightened the ferrari badges on the rims, and, all on MS paint, i wanted to add side exhausts and make some fumes like stuff over them, heck, i cant be bothered..

well...firstly...err, i think its the handbrake or whatever its called, the Carrera GT has it on the back discs, they are small...i really dont know what thats called as well, i suck even more at cars now lol!

and secondly, the original one was covered with different colours already, i think it looks pretty good with darker paint and so i kept it, just changed it to a darker colour

could you please use the extension .JPG or .JPEG for the next comp so that some of the unfortunate members who dont have the luxury of being able to open a .PNG for mat in their mac could participate.... lol thx!

would it work like this? for people who want the .jpeg image... the main/frame image could be mad in paint of .png format.. after you can open it in some other program.. lets say photoshop - and then save it in jpeg and have good quality on it?

here are the steps... if you don't want to download the PNG thing(which would be quite stupid)..
1 - i save the image(host?/original frame).. in PNG format
2 - i open the image in photoshop
3 - i click save as, and put it in jpeg format since the ms paint jpeg format is worse then ever

@ hyphon... you're right.. its actually very good... i loved those mustangs till i saw the new one.. but that picture reminds me of how good the old one was too so i left it one.. oh and i've actually seen this car for $16k

Thanks though, I'll be probably drawing some Exotic car. Most likely a Gallardo or something more tunable.

I can't save the original pic to .jpeg, it'll end up really really messed up. Quality will be screwed up if converted to .jpg through Paint.
