This Months Theme: Free Choice



Now that 2008 is upon us I look for us to converge on a new year with no limitations. Basically it your choice for theme. You can submit any type of picture as long as there is a 4 wheel vehicle of some kind in the picture. Have fun and take your time to find the perfect pic. Oh and to keep this car related, I am going to adjuct the rules a little.



Entries must be in by: Friday January 18th 11:59:59 P.M. EST

Rules:


- No Photoshops/CG
- YOU MAY ONLY SUBMIT ONE PICTURE, NO CHANGING PICTURES
- You may ONLY re-enter if your picture does not qualify with the theme.
- you may only list one picture, failure to comply will result in a DQ.
- picture MUST BE at least 800 x 600 pixels or it will not be accepted. Preferably find a picture that is even larger, and then scale it down yourself.
- No late entries, you get 16 days to get it in by, that should be enough time.
- ONE image per-person
- eligibility of picture is subject to change according to my rulings (ie bad quality, innapporpriate, etc)
NEW RULE---No human models in the pic. As much as I like the opposite sex, I don't want to see them in these competitions. They take away from the competition and voting. So please, no people, just cars. (However, if it is a crew, mechanics, or workers, etc. I will allow it.)
NEW RULE #2---No usage of past POTM winning pics.

they gutted the interior, cut out some body panals, installed a full interior roll cage, replaced the stock transfer case with an atlas II (a god among t-cases), got some good steel beadlocking tires, and put some massive 42 inch super swamper IORK's on those, with a good tread. notice the snorkel and the 10 HID lights mounted above the windsheild.

the bumper is custom, with small hid lights, and a hide-away 12,000 lb winch, and, you cant see it but there's one in the back too. there's alot of custom fab work, and it's all 1/4 inch steel.

this thing has a 60:1 crawl ratio, even with 42 inch tires. thats just freakin, wow.

lockers front and rear, extra heavy duty drive shafts, damn near everything is custom. this ride is just plain awesome, and amazing

I don't think a lot of you guys like this car, but try to look at it a different way. There is no other car out there that looks like this. If you find a car that looks even CLOSE to this I give you a gold sticker. An added bonus it runs on E85 Ethanol... so its green!

Car lover, is that a real pic. SOmething smells like photochop because of that sculpture of David seems unlikely to be there. Now it could be a replica, but it seems suspicious. Unless anyone can prove that it is a chop though, you are in.

It is a JPEG. Look at the file name. It is a 1600x1200 jpeg. It should copy for whatever you need it for.

The "no photoshopped image" rule was originally intended to keep pictures like these out of the comps.

It's indeed a very sweet looking car, isn't it such a shame that other makers don't make a rival to it?

yes, they are great cars, its a good topic. The E and C are also more practicle, for the simply face the CLS only has 4 seats.

i know a guy for bought his wife an E350 recently and they love it. He loves to drive it, his other car is a CLK. they are benz. people.

^^^ the newer 350 V6 engine are pretty good, most the Mercs we end up selling are the 220 CDIs, 280 CDIs (I6 and V6) and the 200 Kompressors, oh and the A180 CDIs <<< so glad there gonna stop the A-Class its supposed to be replaced by a Small Sports Coupe, from what ive heard its gonna be a cross between the A-Class and SLK.

^that sounds cool. Here in the states we only get the big expensive versions of the E, the 350, 320 B., and 550, and of course the E63 which i saw one of the other day.

I wish we could get the more fuel efficient models you guys have over there in europe.
