I believe you put the HELI folder in the NFS Folder under My Documents, and then launch the helicopter control pad to control it. You can also get other mods at that website, too. I tried out a semi, it works great against road blocks:D

Why is it messed up? The helicopter was never meant to be driven by the player, so ya it's going to be a little weird.

There was a cheat code in NFS High Stakes for PSone where you could drive the police helicopter, but not "fly" it.

I posted that a long while ago. I have no idea how that guy got a HUD for the helicopter though.

I mean SERIOUSLY......a Helicopter...in NFS?? Why...that's all i can ask...is why

....because it's fun? The police chopper is fun for the same reason the cement truck is fun. It's big, and heavy, and good for ramming those roadblocks. Who doesn't like to blow cars up? But I agree it's somewhat random. lol
