Mazda RX7 (tuned) vs Ducati 748
I thought the power to weight ratio of a fast bike was unbeatable on the straight.

well alot of cars can beat a bike on the straight when some major mods

most 750cc+ bikes will waste cars uptill about 140ish then if the car is capable it will begin to pull, i once raced a bmw m3 on a 400cc bike, which was amazing, i was passenger on the bike

Bikes don't win simply because a bike is probably less aerodynamicaly inclined than a 1960's pickup..

a stock 600cc bike will eat a stock rx7 so how do you figure?
Dec 10, 2007, 3:09 PM
well yeah stock for stock, but that's because of power to weight..once modification is added into it it's a big diff. because more power means more time spent at higher speeds which the bike is at a disadvantage.

Still pretty good job from the guys that tuned this car. Bikes are compared to cars extremely fast on the straight.
