-There are no restrictions for price or performance. Anything is up for grabs.
-If your entry does not comply with the rules, you can change your entry. If not, then no changing once entered.
-Entry does not have to be street legal.
-Give Specs.

As much as the SLR Roadster is !!! No it's not a tuned car !!!The SLR is made by the factory. GTX1 is a custom aftermarket conversion performed by Genaddi Design Group... But they don't tune the car, and the GTX1 is approved by Ford... so I would let it qualify, but that's just because I'm a fanboy.

Isn't McLaren a Mercedes home tuner ??? It's called Mercedes SLR McLaren

McLaren is a seperate company which happened to work with Mercedes in a partnership. They did a lot of race cars in the 20th century along with the F1 which I am sure you are familiar with. McLaren is British. Mercedes is German.

^ Exactly, they are two comapnies building a car, which is a production car and not a tuned car in any way. The GTX1 is a tuned Ford GT, which isnt even a production car anyway as far as I know.

McLaren took the SL55 , tuned it , and now Mercedes sells it as it's car .

the SLR is a new car . it has only a small connection (maybe only the engine block) to do with the SL55 . rest of the car is new .

It was designed together by partnership between mclaren and mercedes to build this car .

Regarding the SLR, it is in. Why? Because Mercedes made and sold that same one, with no tuning. It maybe a tuned SL55 but that's what rebadging/crossover is.
The GTX1 is not in because Ford did not make it themselves. They may have authorized it but that's as far as it goes.

I think that the horsepower number is not only underrated, but because the compression is so low (7.8:1), it really loses that extra power. With normal compression (9 or so) I could see no problems pushing 700 at the crank.
