For all the members here, this is the third comp of the Add A Part. We all know waggles dont come here no more, so i decided to take over.

RULES
1. Must fit the box.
2. All drawings must be your own work, so no copying and pasting off a real picture.
3. NO ISOMETRIC VIEW drawings please.

It's a tad misleading calling it the 'Add-a-part' comp, seeing as though we aren't adding anything anymore. It's more like a Sideview comp for use with all and every graphic editing program.

But what the hey, I already have something I can put in, just need to tweak something, he he he :D

Not so much. Isometric is a style of 3D pixel art where by the angle a 'straight' line make with the horizontal reference plane is about 26º. That is, it goes 2 across, 1 up/down.

You can still have non-isometric 3D pixel art, it's just that it doesn't comply with the above definition. The above is a good representation of simple, non-perspective affected 3D pixel art.

So you should change the rules to imply no work that contains any representations of depth that is offset from the 2 dimensional plane. That is, the only signs of depth that can be applied is for the use of shading around edges, and the addition of seats, steering wheels, or any other object that can be seen from a direct side-view of the object.

I think that makes sense :s

It's like any other PS comps. You draw your own car that has to be in the limits to the box.

Man, somebody needs to create a comp like that then. Everybody will win in it!

Hmm, I don't like where this one is going, so I'm starting afresh.

I might enter, although I'm not great at pixel art or indeed cartooning off of powerpoint. So if I do enter, it'll probably be a powerpoint cartoon with bits from different cars.

Nobody understands the point of this thread. It should start as a part... such as the tire that was first posted... then each person ADDS A PART (hence the name of the thread) and a car is created...

The origin came from Waggles. Each comp would be different. As this comp, its just draw anything in the box. Next comp would be ALOT different.

hmm... photoshopped.. Overall, that looks amazing. Wheel wells can do some fixing though.

This was no where near what an add a part comp is supposed to be, so I didn't even consider entering.
