Well, how old are you, what type of cars do you like, how much money do you want to spend, are you open to other options, are you planning on modifying it, are you planning on attending sanctioned racing events, is this going to be your daily driver, and does your lifestyle dictate anything special from a car?
And I'm moving this to comparisons. :)

Are you thinking about buying one of these cars, or a you just wanting to compare them? I would like some pictures and specs because I don't even known what the RSX is. I realise the WRX refers to Subaru, and the Civic refers to the Honda Civic. However, what sort of engines are we talking about here. Some people may know the cars you are referring to, but you need to add a bit more info for us noobs. The last comment was meant to be referring to me, and be taken as a joke, if anyone is upset by this comment.

Well I can't say I like Civic's or RSX's so I will go with the WRX even though I don't really like it either, it's the closest thing to a real sports car of the three IMO.

It's obvious the WRX come on awd, more standard hp, not to mention a wagon is available LOL.

Yeah, I'd like to know the premise of us picking one of these cars. I'll say this. My first choice would almost always be an RSX if it was stock cars made before 2005, but there are a few conditions that would make me want the other two.
If the Civic was an EP3 Si--with the RSX's engine in it,
or
if the year was 2007 and I had that sweet, sweet new Impreza available to me and the money to buy it. The 2.5RS is a great car, and I'd love to get my grubby paws on one.
The newer Civics aren't exactly my bag of chips, RSX's are incredible, but hard to find un-molested (already!!:(), and older WRX's only appealed to me in thier wagon variants.

Really? You like EP3s? I could never bring myself to like a mini Odyssey even though I really like the Odyssey. I guess it's just me though. The only Honda hatchbacks I like are the EF Si and EGs. The shifter on the EPs feels really weird too. I drove one.
There is an Impreza 2.5RS in the classifieds here in Bakers for 6,000 OBO.
If I had 6 grand, it'd probably be mine. I like those cars too.

The EP is my favorite all time Civic--Strut suspension and all. It was the first Civic made that DIDN'T feel like a rattling death-trap at speed (my '91 was fun, but it was scary on the highway sometimes), it was built solid as a rock, it had fantastic chassis balance at the limit, it was relatively practical and lightweight, and I happen to think it has the freshest looks of any Civic ever made. Those big headlights are cool.
And I think the position of the EP's shifter is wierd, but it's engagement and connection feels pretty damn good. My Fit's is actually better.

That's what I meant. The position of the shifter is weird. The engagement feels pretty good but I can't imagine shifting that car faster than normal because I think I would miss a shift since I'm used to shifting front and back not up and down, if that made any sense.
Even though the shifter is curved to make it seem like it's in the center, it still doesn't deceive well enough.

I have an 04 EP3 and I absolutely love it. The shifter may be in a weird spot but to me it feels absolutely perfect. If you can find one get it. Although I admit I would take a WRX over it I'm sure, gotta love that AWD factory turbo.

i think that comparison is not fair... subarus are turbocharged and honda dont use turbos (i wish they do)...
and i dont really like the shape of the new civic si but the interior is great and its quick, so i will pick the rsx type-s cuz the shape is less roundy which i hate and it got the same engine as the civic si... i am looking for one already, maybe supercharge it one day? ;)

alrighty, the WRX is more of a sports car--> AWD, 224 hp (turbocharged trim), 4drs, practical, decent price
RSX--> sporty, but small, impractical, and somewhat overpriced
Civic--> if u get the Si, 200hp, sporty, practical, better ergonomics, Honda reliability

And, of course, we would all respect your right to choose a car that was too UGLY to even be in this comparison. Just think if the cars in the comparison were old worn out junkers they might not even beat the evo too bad

Civic Si = intended to take the RSX's spot..which is why Acura no longer makes them!!!!! go Honda!
so i say get the Honda..

And yet an RSX is included.... I firmly hold that the evo has got to be one of the ugliest, monkey flop looking, things to ever come from asia.
I would be afraid to park next to one for fear that some of that "Ugly" might rub off on my cars

Personally, I would take the Suby. I am not a fan of FWD at all, which kills the civic and rsx
