I am asking this question on behalf of my father, he owns a manual 1996 BMW 328i with a 1999 M3 motor. Is there anyway to permanently turn-off the traction control so he doesn’t have to turn if off every time he gets in the car?

Is it that big of a hassle to push a button? Its more of a hassle to research it.. :P

Yeah, turn it off and cut it off from the ECU

Why does he want to turn it off? It's an element of safety. :)
