The side and back of the coupe looks like a 3 series, and the side of the sedan looks like a TL...but it doesnt look bad, it looks quite nice actually.

Isn't that basically what an Accord is?

Looks like the Mitsubishi Galant to me. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Yeah this car reminded me of a lot of different cars...hehe...I like the coupe version.
I wonder if they will ever come out with a sporty version...hmmm.

The sedan is ugly but the coupe is sweet. 268hp V6 with a 6spd manual? I'd take one in black.

Wow, great picture, it has that "in your face!!!" feel to it.
It shares some styling cues from the ugly (but highly functional) duckling, the Honda Ridgeline. That grill is obviously similar to the higher end Ridgeline grills.

It'll look great in coupe form as Attaus mentioned. The sedan might not look as good.....

 Holy shiznipples, it really does!!! How could I not notice that as a car enthusiast?!?! Actually, don't answer that, blame the placement of the reverse-gear white lights.....

Great. I was skeptical about the styling from the initial spy shots and pictures, but in real life, it's great looking. Reminds me of my wife's '98. It's got the same stance and some of the same lines. That's a good thing. Also, check out the hoffmeister kink in the rear window, and the way that the rear taillight goes with the line of the side windows. There's a lot of attention to detail in the '08 that doesn't usually go into "family cars".
I'm not so happy that it's gained 200 pounds across the line, but it's not a sportscar, so it's not a huge deal, and 200 pounds isn't much of a gain compared to some others around this cars size...especially considering that the interior is almost a foot bigger in every direction compared to the last gen. Supposedly it wears it's new weight incredibly well. In comparison to the last gen, Honda recalibrated the double wishbones at all four corners, lowered the engine's mounting a little to lower the center of gravity, and quickened up the steering a smidge...and the 200 horse K24/5 speed combo in the LX-S is truly old school Honda magic.
I dig it.

I don't know, those Camry's are pretty sporty-lookin'!
New Accord looks like what every other Midsize commuter sedan strives to be - boring. It has the same qualities of a BMW from the side, but at least BMW actually made the 5-series look good from the front and a more shapely rear. If anything, the new Accord is to the BMW 5-series as Kia or Hyundai is to Mercedes. A cheaper, somewhat similar looking car that has an unmistakeable touch of boredom.
The coupe will look better, of course, because it has some slightly more stylish cues, but that first picture is a bit of an overstatement. This is the kind of car you and I will see:

Pretty atypical if you ask me.
