not sure if this is a repost but I just downloaded a simulator called R factor- it's apparently the best racing simulator available and you can apparently download cars and racing circuits for it too.

It's available for d'l at www.rfactor.net (http://www.rfactor.net) - Iv just tried it and its amazing!

The best one is Live for speed. I've also played at rFactor, but it's not as real as LFS.

However, it's got real cars and lots of mods and cars you can download.

Rfactor graphics suck. The lightings are too bright against the sunlight, too unrealistic. Yes, LFS is probably the best realistic racing simulation for PC right now. A tight competitor to LFS would be GTR-2, really hard to drive if you're in Simulation mode.
