This reminds me of the quote "There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it." I wonder if this man also has a robotic girlfriend that is just like the real thing, only not the real thing. I wonder what the point is when you could probably spend the money visiting a race-track with a real racing car. It/he seems a bit sad to me.

Ah another hater, gotta love em. I'm willing to bet that he couldn't afford a corvette C5R for one thing. Secondly not everyone actually wants to go to a race track in a real car, many are content to play a lovely simulator. I myself would love to go to the track, infact I do. With that being said I would not hesitate for one moment to own one of these awesome pieces of machinery. What true race fan wouldnt want a race car right in the comfort of their own home. I bet you play racing games all the time. I could argue that instead of all the time you waste playing video games you could spend working on a car that you could take to the track.. Even still I bet you would play those video games even if you could go to the track. I say this becuase I bet you couldnt go to the track everyday, mostly becuase every track in the world is not open to petty people like you everyday. So while you play your games I bet you'd love to have a kick-ass chair with actual movement and force feed back to enhance your gaming expirience. I rest my case.

I would go for any real car over a simulator anyday, and what difference does it make what car you choose in the game. I can't see how picking a different car makes a huge amount of difference to the game.
However, if he is happy with the simulator then good luck to him. I would prefer a real car. Would you prefer a real girlfriend or a robot girlfriend? I would rather go with the real thing rather than a substitute. I find him to be a bit creepy.
I don't play any racing games. I prefer the real thing. I would be happy to live in the real world and wait for a chance to drive on a track. If there is no anticipation or something is too easier you soon get bored with it. It seems very boring to me actually and it is nowhere near driving a car for real.
I really wouldn't want the simulator because I would get bored with it very quickly. You get no sense of movement with the simulator. It is no substitute for the real thing. It would be like having a robot grilfriend that never tired of having sex, never argued with you, and always let you watch what you wanted on the TV, but just wasn't the same as having the real thing. If he is happy with it then fine. I would prefer the real thing. I am not being a hater I just can't see the point. If you are not going to do something properly; why bother?

^ I get what you mean. I mean for the price of the first one Robbie showed, you could probably buy an R8, which I would much rather have.
The only thing that makes me want one it is the fact I cant drive yet!

Wow! Thats pretty neat.
I wonder what would the chair do if he was going 200mph in the game and went headfirst into a wall!?
