The Z06 of course . More power .

z06, hands down. the other have nothing more to offer, the z06 is the top model

I like the standard Coupe best. The Z06's raw power and track ability aren't really suited for use on road.

I'd pick not the best one

Z06 all the way...for a bit more money you get a lot more stuff. But I'd rather spend even more money for a Viper...the ultimate:D

C6 convertible. Better on the road which is want i'd want a corvette for, and the wind is your face is one of those great little things in life.

I'll take the standard C6 coupe. Although I love the Z06 and everything it stands for and for who it destroys, it isn't really something I would need. I mean the C6 does very good on its own and is still fast without being 65k+. I think that the stock C6 is 45k or so, which is immense bang for the buck, and if you look at the recent C&D VIR Lightning lap it isn't that much slower than a Z06 and it beats out very big name cars.

While the Z06 is the better performer, I feel that a standard corvette would be better suited to the road. The Z06 probably has a harsh ride, and the standard vette already offers 425hp anyways.

As fast as the new C6 Corvettes are, they just aren't as fast as the Z06. I hate to make such a lame post but thet's all I've got.

I will have a Z06 in a different color - Poo brown isnt my favourite...
This aside the convertible would be great for a drive along great ocean road...If you can get around all of the caravans.

I would take the Z06 in that Electron blue with the grey polished aluminum wheels. Looks great!!

If cost wasn't an issue, I'd take the Z06. It's new suspension setup is soft enough for daily driving, and extra performance is never a bad thing. If I had to pay for it however, I would look no further than the C6 coupe. It's not much slower than the Z06, and costs a fair bit less.

I would take the C6 Corvette for road use, and the Z06 for track work. Although the C6 is quite good on a track as well from what I understand.
I wouldn't want the C6 Convertible, because you buy a convertible to be seen in, and I think anyone would look a bit of a c0ck in a convertible Corvette.
The C6 is a very good car from what I have heard and the Z06 is slightly flawed. However I may change my mind with the arrival of the 'blue devil'.

Damnit, this is a terribly touch choice between these Vettes, I love them all, but I think I'll take the '08 Roadster.... It's quite surprising that all 3 models have different rims, especially between the '08 coupe and the roadster, usually they have the same type, that's quite a variety there.
I also take it for other reasons, obviously my most anticipated Corvette I've been waiting for, and hell it looks extremely good, especially those chrome beauty rims and it's convertible feature. The Z06 wouldn't be my choice as such, it's got one raw engine as said by aston_martin and also wouldn't really go as a daily driver - it's more of a track orientated car to use.

Z06 for obvious reasons :p

I'll take the Z06. It's more of a track car and daily driver rolled into one package. It may not be the best for road use, but i think it can survive without much hassle. It also has a huge LS7 V8 that packs a punch and aggressive looks all round. Not to mention it's great value for money since it can beat other higher end sports cars, all for a lower price.

I'm going to be sensible and take the C6 coupe. I've never been on a track and the nearest track to me is Knockhill and 10 or so hours away from me so I wouldn't need a track car. I've read so many stories about the Z06 being not great on the road and I would not sacrifice comfort on the road for that extra little bit of grunt. The C6 is still hugely fast and just as good looking so unless you're a track fanatic, I can't see why anyone would choose the Z06 over the more comfortable C6.
If I lived nearer a track and wanted to take part in track days, I'd get a Z06. But I wouldn't use it as my daily driver. I'd sell my wife and get Civic Type R.

I'll have the Z06. If possible, the rumoured 'Blue Devil'.

not such a big fan of the new vettes, but i guess i can choose the Z06. it looks the most agressive and sporties out of all three and if i'm not wrong it's the top-of-the-line C6.
But I wouldn't use it as my daily driver. I'd sell my wife and get Civic Type R.
hahahahahahahahahaha. you are the nicest man i've ever known. i can't imagine how bad your wife will kick your arse if she ever finds out. new signature anyone?

Z06 by far. Got the power, the looks, and it's affordable. Can get one of these for around £60-£70k which is dirt cheap considering that it's main rivals are around double the price. Can use it everday. It's got like a sort of M button, except that button is your right foot, where all hell is unleashed. A magic car.

I'm taking the 2008 Coupe. Maybe the Z06 is just too hardcore for a person like me. 2008 Coupe looks really good with it's black hood.

Yeah well it's a good thing I'm not married then isn't it?
I refuse to sell my girlfriend. Even for a car.
Unless someone was up for trading their F430 for her...

I can't decide between the Z06 and the Convertible. The C6 is PLENTY powerful enough for a street car and having a convertible is oh so worth it. Unless you plan on getting a lot of tickets or like Chookes said, living at the track, a C6 is the ultimate road car...
The Z06 of course . More power. That's a pretty 'young' reason...
so unless you're a track fanatic, I can't see why anyone would choose the Z06 over the more comfortable C6.Very true statement. I love the Z06's performance and reliability but it is a bit of overkill...

I don't think I would actually. I spent the last 5 minutes considering it but I don't think I can. Maybe if I ever got a shot of a 'Vette V8 then I would reconsider. Infact, any V8 would do. Any Yanks/Aussies want to send me their car for a week so I can a little taste of what it's all about ;)? I'll take care of it, I promise...

I'll take the C6 Coupe simple because its not that much slower than the Z06, looks good, more civilised than the Z06 and for the price is there a better car ???

Only if you send them your girlfriend for a week for a little tastes / test drive.
Just as a show of good faith, they will take good care of her...

Well considering I haven't seen her in the past 4 weeks it's a swap I can't really consider at the moment. I will however offer me for a week. Chookes for a week, for your V8. Now that's an offer you don't get everyday.

Always the convertible. Always. Why not?? I mean, it's fast as the coupe, more to enjoy day to day than the Z06, it's as solid as a piece of granite, it looks better, and, uhhhh, it's a convertible. Granted, it's not one of my favorites when it comes to convertibles, but you can't deny that it's one of the fastest drop tops on the planet. Besides that, it's not a heavy car by any means, so you can actually imagine that you're driving a V8 powered roadster. Neato.

I own a 2000 Z51 C5 as a "training" car for a C6 Z06. However, after driving the C5 for a while, I realize that my driving skills are about "average" because my previous cars were muscle cars, luxery cars and BMWs and I never had a true sports car. I will likely buy a new 08 Z51 C6 with 430 HP rather than the C6 Z06. I am having the time of my life driving my 2000 Z51 C5 and I am convinced that I will be happy with the 2008 Z51 C6 because my driving skills are a match. Those people who are lusting at the C6 Z06 should really assess their own driving skills and determine if there may be a mismatch. It is similar to an average guy getting into a formula one race car and I will bet that his track times will be miserable. Based on my experience, I really believe that the C6 Z06 is beyond the capability of most drivers and they may be wasting money on the cost difference.
