Looking at getting a new car something made 01,02,03. worth $25 000 or less and has a turbo OR pump out 200hp (147 kw), which would roughly be a 2000cc engine (122cu).
and if possible easy to find in Brisbane Australia (I can import the car myself if I have to).
The civic si and type-r are ideal cars?

Ello mate! Australlia rocks hardcore! 8)
You know, there's probably some sweet Aussie cars I dont' know about, but the Car I personally suggest is the VW GTi with the 1.8T egnine. Stock power is 180 hp and a NEW one is a mere 20,000 Us dollars. if you get the cool Moonroof and Monsson sound system package, its more like 21,000. Also, for around 1,250 K you can kick up the Hp by around 63-67 Hp! Thats even with no exhaust upgrade or even touching the turbos. Check out this Forum for better details. My post deal with the tuning aspects.

Otherwise, I can only suggest maybe the Hodna Accord. It's not potray as a performance vehicle, but the new V6 coupe is only 23 thousand and kicks out a nasty 240 hp, N/A(looks pretty wicked I think too). Hope you can find whats right for you.

a V6 Accoird Coupe will fit more in my opinion ... 3 liter engine.. lots of power...
good handling....
and when he can afford it there is a huge tunning potential .....
