I have a Black 1989 rx-7 with 155k orig. miles on it. It is a black comvertible second generation.
I have made some air filter and exhaust modifications to it and also put a whole new alternator on it. It has 1 small (SMALL) ding in the front right fender not noticable but just trying to lay it all out. Has cold air conditioning, CD player, and a subwoofer setup. This car is a stick and goes fast as hell. If you are intersted and want more information call me i live in san diego california. 7607033410 is my cell number if its off then call the house at 7606307093 . Thanks. PS selling cause i need the mony PERFECT engine.

well where do you live man. if you live in europe or something what about the shipping? because sometimes if it is over sea shipping the owner will pay for it. but yes send pictures, and stuff. and you should through out bit of a below-average price of what you are looking for. so you can hastle with the buyer, for more money.

It's a pity you're selling your RX-7. I remember when we were giving you advice on what to get for it, but now...

I like the fact that it's a convertible, and a rotary at the same time..and i don't like the sound of 155k miles, and i think fuel economy would kill me.. and i don't like the sound of 155k miles.. i'd have to get another car just to handle that.. anyway, don't expect to pay over $3000 USD

155k is too many imo, although i saw a lexus is400 or something (cant remember) with 400k miles on it, which still seemed to run well :?

was the 7 ever sold. my bro is looking for another car. he might be selling is Mx6 for $3300 and he got it for $2500. some person on his Mx-6 forum wants it for a whole new tinker. and my bro may or may not come to his request.
anyway my bro is looking for diff car. he saw a standerd twin turbocharged 1995 rx7 that was yellow and in beautiful condtion for $7700. he says that he fell in love with the car and then looked at his back account and sarted to cry. I still say he should pull out a loan and get it. but he is tied up with money atm.

Even if it isn't, I doubt the guy will be coming back. :( Besides, after 155k miles, those rotarys run into expensive problems.

the older ones do. through the years the rotory engines have gotten better. I am not saying that it will be cheap to run at 155K but it wont be huge chunks of money. at least in the 3rd gens. the 2nd gen from the 80's and early 90's I have no idea.
