just because they ragged the life out of a couple of Porsche demos? thats what motoring journalists do. although I dont think there is a massive market for these cars in Israel (i think thats where they are from), and they do seem to be driving mercilessly hard on the poor car, but i would go that far, the place where the blue 997T does the doughnut... same spot a few years back the M5 vid did a doughnut there too... its nothing new for these cars to be driven like that, the manufacturers know it

But it's easier on a rwd car than it is on a fwd/awd car. Stepping on it hard and turning the wheel alot stresses the U joints in any car that has power going to the front wheels. And you should never free rev an engine to the redline like they did.

youtube thread...yea, use that...we could still comment on the video in that thread...
but heck, why the hell are they idiots, thats probably what all these guys do for their life, drive cars to their extreme and review on them to tell you guys what the car really is all about...
those guys are not idiots, they are awsome guys, i cant do anything similar to that, especially the corner in about 1:55, gosh, very tight, the tires were on the edge of the road...
i never knew that the Turbo could do these stuff, thats what Porsche 911 Turbos are built for, fun, unforgetable experiences, i mean, yea, those are roads, legal roads, they shouldnt be doing donuts and those stuff, but well, thats pretty normal i guess...

Idiots? Why idiots? This car is fast, was build to reach high speeds, it's 'safe', what would you do with it? Drive it at 35 mph? Let it stop in the garage?
If I had this car and all that money they have, I'd do the same...

the worst i could see was the standing start, AWD cars are not designed to spin all 4 wheels no dry tarmac like that, too much stress for the drive layout

It's not really idiotic, that looked quite fun to me actually. When he slid around the corner on the first part that was pretty cool, although it looked as though it was kinda struggling doing those doughnuts...
It accelerates like a b*tch, it's crazy fast.

After watching this i think i have to start consider myself an idiot, because i would do almost the same things if i had car like that.

I don't really understand why they're actually been called idiots, in my opinion the drifts, accelerations, burnouts, 360's all looked very stunning...
It's just that they were using the darn wrong car for all this, a 911 is supposed to be driven for performance and racing legally whereas these guys were just enjoying themselves doing drifts and 360's and all that....
Maybe a Viper or a Merc would have been good.... lol :p
