Back on topic, holy sh1t, those pics look great. I though PGR3 had good graphics but when i look at these pics it's even better! I can't wait, i'll preorder it when it comes out. It should be a great competitor to Forza 2, can't wait for the car list to come out.

wow, those graphics are excellent. but the snow one doesnt look that realistic with the bonnet's water droplets. but darn the first one looked so real! the darn water droplets on the window look so realistic, just like on my window lol... and lol, the website on the picture is blakguy.com, lol, are they being racist? :D j/k. lol.

so finally some pics of PGR4 after i started the thread on Peugeot making an unofficial release of the PGR4...

it looks weird, the pictures are like all blurred and it makes all the picture looks ugly, im SURE that its going to look much better in the bigger TV/plasma whatever, but darn, i think those droplets are just too small and detailed to be shown on this 15" screen! it must be awsome..

and yes, Forza 2 now looks lame!

Impressive pictures, any car lists released yet? 599 looks fantastic, I really really want to drive one on any game right now!

there is no car list yet, and i believe these are the 1st pics out of the actual in-game graphics.

I am a big fan of PGR3, especially now with the new force feedback wheel (kinda negates my desire to blow my life savings on a Ferrari), so I will try and keep everyone posted on any developments with PGR4.

It should be a great competitor to Forza 2, can't wait for the car list to come out.


The PGR series were never meant to compete with sales from the Forza Motorsports collection. In fact they are released by the same company, Microsoft. They are two completely different orientated driving games. Gotham is more towards the arcade people and concentrates more on the flash. The FM people are the hardcore simulation racing game makers. Forza actually uses realistic handling while in PGR you can stop on a dime and powerslide for hundreds and hundreds of yards with little scrub-off of speed. I have all 3 PGR games and FM so I can tell you with certainty, not the same driving games.


As for the pictures, OMG WTF HOLY SHIZNIT, that is utterly epic in terms of graphics, for consoles. (and yes I have seen GOW). The detail of each individual raindrop on the hood of each car and the side window of the Vette is just spectacular.

I cannot wait until it comes out, I would guess summer of 2008.

If the graphic for this PGR4 is really that good, I think I will just get the xbox360, rather than PS3, is Gran Turismo 5 gonna be good? I mean in graphic wise...

GT5 has nothing to do with PGR4 - GT5 will rival Forza Motorsport 2 (or 3?). PGR4 is too arcadey to rival GT5. And duh PGR4 would only be released for 360 - its made by Microsoft Game Studios - like they're gonna give it to the opposition.

but tis still boring old GT, you hit a wall at 200mph and just bounce off and continue, forza on the other hand you are out of the race, and forza has proper modifying options unlike GT.

well PGR4 isnt out yet, but im sure that PGR4 is better, first, its got damage, and i believe that the graphics are more realistic and the physics are abit better, but im addicted to the graphics on the xbox more than the not so realistic graphics in the GT5

thats one of the few things I dont like about the gran turismo series. the track conditions are always perfect.

I agree, GT5 isin't out yet, the one Robbie is talking about is GTHD, not GT5. To make it sound easier it's kinda like GT4.5 becuase it gives you a taste of the upcoming GT5.

The screenshots are also from GTHD so if you think it's good, then wait till GT5 comes up becuase the graphics might be even better and there might be weather effects too!

i never noticed it before, but now that you mention it, look at the fence shadow... with that reference there is no shadow for the people as well as the car

I agree, those graphics are amazing, the rain is very detailed and the environment looks pretty realistic as well. And is you looks at the 2nd pic, you see the 599's taillights are clear, that shows that it's wet and reflective, nice, the amount of detail is awesome!

And Cant X360 run full HD? It can, if you go settings, you can change it to 1080p which is full HD.

oh my gosh! so you get that classic ferrari (cant see what it was) in the game? AWSOME!!!

and darn, my screen cany handle the graphics, its getting all pixelated!!:p

Agreed, i don't care if GTHD is better, PGR4 owns! I also prefer arcade handling to simulation handling ,they're just too realistic that they take the fun out if games IMO. And plus they have no damage and modifications such as body kits like in GT4, GTHD etc etc, except for Forza 1 and 2.

but forza is a sim and that has body and mechanical damage, last night i was on forza2 and managed to rip both bumpers off a gallardo, GT say they cant do damage as car manufacturers dont like it, thats bollox they are just too lazy

I took a trip to Best Buy today...and I tried Gran Turismo HD:D:D It looked great and felt great. The scenery was all 3D instead of 2D trees etc. etc. You could see all the curves on the road and all the lighting was perfect. It should be a good game. And for all PS3 owners...if you wanna try it out go visit a Sony Store to download for free.

I don't own a 360, but my friend does and I tried the Forza 2 demo, he unfortunatly doesnt have the steering wheel, but it was still very fun, i got used to it, then i tried pgr3 again and it was totally different for sum reason. I can't wait till forza 2 comes out, but doesnt matter to me yet cuz i still dont got a 360 :(

oh wow, a new trailer, the one before was just a 599 or 612 going through the city raining uber fast and it looks somehow weird, this one on the other side looks awsome, love the rain, and the cars looks somehow slow on the trailer lol, and i wonder if they will get those cameras on the track, i mean, you could see long arms and cameras filming you and seeinng the same view in the replay
