Just something I thought up randomly for no reason:D

That's an old video. These days, many cars have side-curtain airbags. If you ask me, the side impact test wasn't bad at all.....

it doesn't look bad... yeah the car got totalled but these days cars are designed to do that. its called a crumple zone. it is designed so that the car crumples and loses energy through the deformation of the metal etc. so that there is less energy put into the occupants of the car. therefore hopefully less injury is caused to them. and while the front is destroyed as you said the cabin looks intact

Yes, I know about c.z.s and yes 05 and up Elements have standard side curtains. But the older models look like they could get totaled badly in a side ram.
