For probaly the first time ever in a game, you can race an enzo against a carrera GT.
Plus theres a good few hot hatches which should be fun to thrash. My head is going to explode with all the great cars in here. Any car i want is just there, except caterham. damn

i saw this list a while back, cant wait to try the muscle cars

question: how extensive are the aftermarket parts that you can buy in forza motorsport and forza 2?

is it like GT4, where it's pretty much only the engine, suspension, wheels, and an adjustable spoiler? or can you upgrade body parts? like body kits, widebody kits, stickers, etc.

think of need for speed but the bodykits are nice and look good not like space ships, you can do engine swaps, like put a v6 mustang engine into a ford focus or a rb26 into a 350z, and in forza 2 you can do drivetrain swaps, like have a rwd integra of awd focus, but its all realistic stuff, not crazy things, its a lot more in depth than gt also you can create pretty much any vinyl for your car

man, forza 2 looks like it's pretty comprehensive. it's got everything. i hate how these games can't be played over multiple consoles. you'd think everyone would make more money if sony guys could play an xbox game and vice versa.

I'm glad to see the F430, and all of the lamborghinis they included. I'm especially excited to see the Mclaren F1 GT, one of the rarest and most exotic cars in the world. But they still didn't put the Veyron in there. But I guess everyone would pick it and not choose any of the other cars if it was in the game.

I'm just happy the Cobalt SS is in there. Too bad it had to be a 2005 model. Any Cobalt expert would tell you that they had a problem on the 2005 models because of the placement of the intercooler. But since the ION Red Line is also in there, I have a feeling there might be an "LSJ Showdown" race series.

Also, I like how they're putting in some of the older but well-known exotics in there like the Diablo and Countach. It would probably be pretty sweet to drive one of those against the new-age exotics.

That's what makes it more of a simulation game, you have to try and smash the nuts off other cars, in a car that has a realistic speed.

Anyhoo, Forza does look rather good, but I'm still a GT purist. What's the dynamics of Forza like, do they match up to GT ?

Have you seen the screens? They don't showcase the final render quality, but they are still pretty stunning. Go to www.forzamotorsport.net (http://www.forzamotorsport.net/) and check out the media section.

Also note the Fairlady Z is only available via download and if you buy the Limited Edition, you get three extra cars not available on the standard game - I bought the LE! :D Also three other cars are only available via the online auction house - making 7 unavailable if you have no internet connection and the standard version, not the LE.

I was thinking that as well. That sucks. Maybe it's just as well, because the V8s in Forza sound like they have a kazoo in the exhaust pipe.

yeah the 360 has red lights of death, but microsoft are really good about repairing / replacing

I remember when Microsoft wanted me to pay £90 to get my original Xbox fixed and the memory would have been riped so I went down Toys R Us and brought an Xbox for £130 with an extra controller and 4 games so I was better off lol

Yet to experience the ring of death on my 360 (touches wood) yet !!

The 'red light of death' occured on a few consoles after their first year. It only appears when the console is damaged with no way of fixing it. It rarely happens...

my cousin had problems with his crashing, got red lights once but 360 restarted, it was out of warranty but they repaired it anyway, i couldnt see sony doing that

Yeah- they only started repairing them when Watchdog reported it though.

The 'red light of death' occured on a few consoles after their first year. It only appears when the console is damaged with no way of fixing it. It rarely happens...

actually there is a proven yet unconventional fix, just wrap your 360 in a dry towel and let it run for 10 min with the 3 red lights flashing, turn it off and take the towel off, and then resume play as normal...

Sounds like an unlikely fix, but who knows? Well, I know, because I tested lastnight. The “Towel Trick” is bunk, total crap. You’re more likely to set your Xbox 360 on fire by doing this rather than fixing it. The best advice still is to contact Microsoft support. You can call them toll-free at 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They have an excellent support department lined up there for the Xbox/Xbox 360.
