actually if you have a closer look the car is already movin so it wasn't really from a dead stop but it's still crazy stuff...

Holy crap, thats engine is insane in the cool way! Listen to the engine's roar and it's raw power! It's a very deep and throaty grunt from the V8. Look at it make it's way through the gears at watch the needle go higher and higher each second. Awesome vid, nice find...

in this case the vette has a super high end tranny right? because shifting that quickly is almost not possible on a stock tranny correct?

Well if the engine is able to burn the gears that quickly then possibly yes (it would have to be one hell of a clutch either way), but in this case the gear ratios were at least adjusted, if not gone with a brand new racing tranny.

p.s. it says something about the transmission in the video right?

the corvette 6 sp manuel transmission is perfectly capable of withstanding all the power that vette has and more

as for shifting quickly, its all about the driver, not the tranny

but having a good tranny definatly helps though. do the lingenfelter packages include a better clutch/tranny?

They don't mention either in the build list. To be honest, I have no idea how much the clutch is capable of. I would assume they need to upgrade it.

By the way, all of LPE's upgrades can be done for a fraction of the cost ($45,000). ****, that's another C5 Z06.

lingenfelter only works on the engine, they dont do anything to anything else.

went over 220 (as far as the speedo went). thats ridiculous. 4 tims the speed limit, if you got caught doing that you would be screwed. doing just 100 (40 miles over the limit) is reckless driving, and depending on the state can be as much a misdemenor. 220? reckless driving, self endangerment, endangerment of others, you'd get screwed hardcore
