I myself like the old school datsuns :) like my 71 2 dr 510 :D man that things sweet. im never gonna sell it. unless someone wants to give me 8000 dollars.

The Ferraris of that era would kill your car, they make the best today, they made the best back then, some things never change. And if you want Japanese, The old school Celica that was all boxy was SWEET. It almost looked like a muscle car. :twisted:

How old is old? In car years, 10 years is old to me. Ahm, I'm gonna mention the '82 Porsche 422(arg, I'm not sure on that designation). It had mid 400 hp output and AWD. That was and still is a super sweet performing platform.
Now, old old cars? Well thats easy for me. The 1964 Lotus Elan Sr. 1 I also like the Toyota 2000 GT of the same year. Classics

The First Z car of course. The Datsun 240Z. I wouldn't call it sweet, but it would move along. It started the trend of japanese sports cars. Even though i don't know much about them, I like the old, early 80's R32 Skyline. It was way ahead of it's time. You also have to mention the Evo 1. A 250hp turbo charged car was really fast for the 80's. There were supras and RX-7s in the 80's that were fast, but i can't bring myself to really find them atracttive. As for cars before that, i wouldn't have a clue. I know in the late 60's the civic came to america, and thats it. I'm not from japan, so I only know about muscle cars before that.

And yes, Everyone knows about old muscle cars and stuff, but nobody really knows about the old late 20's deusenburgs and Hispano-Suizas. Those were amazing cars. They influenced carmakers for years to come. To me, they were very dramatic and beutiful. You just don't see that anymore.

whoa, the 427 Cobra isn't a bad looking car. I know the GT40 is absolutley gorgeous, but the Cobra is no pacer next to the GT40. Both are beutiful cars, and they share a common powerplant.
