Which automotive publication is the best? Which are the worst?

For me, the best would be autoweek. It's first to tell you any information, and it comes every thursday! It has great long term road tests and journalists. The only problem is that the articles can't be really in depth. This is because it comes out weekly. The best monthly magazine is got to be Car and driver. They have the best comparisons and tests, hands down. They always have the most up to date information, next to autoweek. The only problem is that, since they come out monthly, they don't have the mose up to date racing info. The best european auto mag is CAR. Every issue lasts me weeks. Thats one of the problems, though. They can also be really mean, and it's REALLY expensive, nearly $7 an issue.

As far as European publ. r concerned, i like EVO(both the Greek and the UK edition). It comes from the UK,which means that it is a prof. written mag..The editors know what they write, and they r veryy objective. It doesn't have though many motorsport news...As far as pure Greek mag. r concerned i like DRIVE, which probably doesn't tell u nothing..One of the reasons i like it is cause in every issue there is a smaller issue about tuning.Now as for American's, i don't have an opinion cause i don't buy american car mag..

Im in UK and i get TopGear, Evo, Official F1 Magazine, Unofficial Form. 1 magazine.

the annoyin thing is thats about £15 over 2 weeks that i spend on magazines. :(

What is Evo?

Probably UK's most known auto maagzine...With emphasis on sport cars...And it has come in Hellas too..An Hellenic version..

we dont really have many car magazines in the country and all of them are monthly ..
i like Road&Track
Car&GO
Sports cars Magazine
and Honda tunning ...
and another one i forgot its name ...

basicly they are the only one they sell around here ... along with some really crappy magazines !

I'd go with the Dupont registry :) Its that magazine that has all kinds cars like Ferraris, Lamborghini's and other cars that cost alot, including some nice muscle cars too :) But even if you dont wanna count that one...fine....Car and Driver all the way then, It convinced me to buy my Evo over the STi, even though I was going to anyway :twisted:
