Just spoken to a colleague of mine.
Essen seems to be a bit of a ricer meeting.

Might be fairly enjoyable nonetheless.

^What the hell does that mean. There is no "the" Autobahn. Theres lots of them. Its just German for highway. Its like me asking Monkey if he's been on the highway.

you can make some decent speed on the way from Duisburg to Aachen taking the following route:

Duisburg – Bad Honnef. A59. A171. Nonnweiler – Saarbrücken. A1. A172. Grenze D/LUX – Pirmasens. A8. A183. Viernheim – Weinheim. A659. A201. Aachen

Most Autobahns aren't all that great anyway. You'll be lucky to find a de-restricted piece of it, because most of them are choc a bloc with repair lorries and Porsches being peeled off lampposts.

I hear that the one from Munich to Berlin is the best. I had the hope of transferring to TU Munich but you need $$$ to survive in that citty

The one that you need to use to get between Zurich and Stuttgart is pretty good. We managed to touch 180 in the RX-8 along there and there were barley any other cars except for just outside the city at peak hour.

ah, you're never going to believe this unless you tried for yourself.

A 1984 Opel Ascona with it's stock transmission and a 2.0 liter 140HP vectra engine.

It took a while to get to 240 kph but itgot there. Also did 110 kph in 2nd gear.

well, I'm pretty sure the brakes would not have managed an emergency stop nor would teh car have survived that but it was one of the most stable cars I've driven as long as stable means driving in a straight line.

It got even more stable when I loaded 150 kg of cement in the trunk.
Had some traction problems on front wheels though.

I'm from the Isle of Wight, just off the south coast of England. I was born and bred here. My mum was born in Luton and my dad on the Island, which would make me a semi-Caulkhead.

I've learnt a lot about my background recently.

From my dad:
3/8 english
1/8 muslim/gypsy/nobody's sure

From my mum:
2/8 german slav
1/8 croatian slav
1/8 jewish

I was born in zlatna greda, croatia, and came over here (Australia) when I was four. I may have been raised by ethnics but I'm still considerably bogan.

grandma- greek
grandpa-bulgarian
other set of grandparents both armenian
parents born and raised in armenia
brother is born in armenia and came here when he was 1
that leaves me and i am the only cheeryoz utox in the family ....which means cereal eater.....Armenians refer to Americans as cereal eater in a funny kindof derogatory way, like eating cereal is a kiddish thing to do.

anyway, even though i was born in america, i dont consider myself an american, i think it is stupid for me to say that i am american, my parents are armenian and i came from them, i have their blood running through me so that makes me an armenian not an american. being born in a country does not make that country ur nationality in my opinion....so ill say in interesting fact about armenia not america

Armenia was the first christian nation in the world.
Armenian is one of the world's oldest languages.
The most famous Armenian is kirk kerkorian and he owns half of Las Vegas, and until recently owned a large part of GM and still owns the biggest share or one of the biggest shares of diamler chyrsler.

I think the same way too. Like I consider myself 100% Chinese by blood despite being born in America.

I put my nationality half Scottish, half Brazilian in Football Manager, hoping to increase the chances of Brazilian footballers coming to me. Does that count :p?

P.S. Plan didn't work, Brazilians couldn't get work permits to work in Scotland :(.

I hold dual citizenship, German and English although I feel a lot more German than I do English so would consider myself German if it came down to it and I would in the future like to move to Germany and work there.

Germany is Europe's largest economy and second most populous nation

Germany has one big advantage on many other countries.

They are an old fashioned economy with old fashioned economical and business structures.

They still give a lot of permanent contracts in contrast to most other countries having temp agencies fill their worker slots.

I see the Lebanon flag a lot over here. A lot of Lebanese people live in Montreal, Lebanese food is awesome!

A lot of you are mixing up nationality with ethnicity lol

Nationality is Canadian

Ethnicity is Vietnamese

I discarded my ethnicity.

If I had the option I'd discard my nationality as well.

Apparently, for logistic reasons one needs a nationality to 'tag' one with when travelling though to know where the corpse goes once it stops answering that question for itself.
