my worst wasn't a ticket ... was the car !

i was going 190 km/h in a 70 km/h speed limit road ....... the road wasn't straight ... too many corners and it was something like 30 degrees angle ... ...2 line street ...
and i was pretty a bigenner ... i had my license before 3 months then ...
anyways i saw a guy infront of me who wanted to race so i kicked full on that street ... got to 190 km/h and i got to the next corner with him ... i was in the inner line and the car understeered .. and i had one line to keep it steady ! but i hit the middle of the street what do you call it !?@ .. anyways my front wheel got over the "x" in the middle about 9 Cm it exploded and i started playing with the steering like crazy ... but with no use there is no front wheel ... i started to lower with gears ... but no use i was gonna hit a bus startion and a big stone wall ... i didnt wanna hit them face to face ... so i braked ... 6 spins and hited everything the wall the side way some signs and the car had 85% damage ....
as for TOTAL LOSS ...

thats the worst that ever happened to me ...!

i do believe you couse on israels roads my top speed is 240 km/h in the bimmer ...in kveesh hasargel ....at midnight ..
and with a guy the top speed was 260 in an A6 4200 quattro in the road from nazareth to haifa ... through shfa3amer

just to explain some words that might sound rediculas ...
kveesh hasargel = a road name .
shfa3amer , haifa , nazareth = city names ...
eilat which sportmotori is also a city name ....

Eeeewww, I hate you jimkk29! I kid, hehe. I have gotten two speeding tickest in my 4 year driving career, and it's very strange to compare them. The fisrt was only a few months after i had gotten my liscense and I was doing 78 in a 35 mph zone(I'm working on finding a good conversion table to metric numbers so I can relate better to everyone elses posts). That ticket cost a mere 100 dollars. Then, just recently this Febuary, I got a 105 dollar speeding ticket going 76(slower than before) in a 55 mph zone(a higher speed limit than before). What gives? Silly goverment 'math' I guess. I've only had one moment in my life where I was more freaked out than when I get pulled over by a cop for speeding, and it did deal with the police still, juuust not for speeding though. I'd like to remind everyone that the Polcie are doing thier jobs, which is a very important one. They make us feel safe in our homes and are protecting our freedoms. Sometimes we get busted, though I'm more often mad that some other drivers go without tickets and are heinous pilots of their vehicles.

check the sig.

That's perhaps because I only drive for 1 year.

White-Night
Jul 16, 2003, 5:01 PM
1 year is plenty of time ...!
12 months... each month about 4 weeks ... each week 7 days .. each day 24 hours !!! do the math !!!!!

just kidding ... for real .. usually when your still a new driver , and your crazy about cars and speed its a year that you take alot of tickets in it :)
you dont know were the cameras are hidden in the roads .. you dont know how a camera looks like .. you dont know if the lights have a camera and you go through a red light when you race. ... you dont know were police hide , and were they usually think about hidden ...
all of that will make you get most tickets when your pretty new :)

2. I drive 95% in the city, so it's impossible to reach great speeds because of the traffic.

Well, I only have a few experiences, as a co-driver, because I'm 16 :D :twisted, so my father is the one who drives!!!. The most we've reached is 210 KPH in a highway in here!!!. That was in a Subaru Legacy, but we had no ticket, because police here is like a fake!!!!. Even if you got a ticket in here, the highest one is of about 100 dollars!!!!

Yeah, I've never heard of speeding cameras, only Stop Light cameras. I can see how there would be cameras in the bus lanes too and catch you if you're driving in that lane.

we have cameras too ....
but you can get a spray so that the camera won't get your car number ....
you also have fake cameras !!
those give a signal just to make you slow down if you have a radar...
new radars ar getting better.. and don't horn every time they see a fake ....!

nice game though :)

And every one that i know thinks that you can drive fast in Germany...

Hey igaboj, over here in Florida some ppl drive around w/ a SMOKED lens covering up their plate. There's no way you could get away that in California.

yaris
Feb 24, 2004, 2:46 PM
Here in Chile there are many cars that has those plastic covers, they reflects the light so the cameras can't read the plate. but strangely the cameras are not allowed to be set in any place, they have to be registered in specific places so everybody knows where are they. my fastest speed in the city? 210 km/h (130 mph) we passed right next to a police car, and they didnt do nothing cause they didnt have time to react

My friend was going 55mph in a 25 zone and got his way out of the ticket... Anyway, I know what your talking about Imprezza, we have some Rent-A-Cops here too. The just drive around in a cop car to scare kids from vandalizing, which never works because the cops can't do anything in the neighborhoods. I also know somebody that got a ticket for 32 in a 30 zone.. but there could be a flaw in the gun that low. I think the cops here really need money because they are EVERYWHERE in this little 8,000 person city. Personally, I have never gotten a ticket. I have a sort of 6th sense.. I kind of know when a cop is coming up, but my Valentine 1 helps a little. Spend a little extra cash in your radar detector, it will save you TONS of money. Just one ticket really hurts you.. you have to pay the fine, and your car insurance is raised.

Evo Rob
Feb 24, 2004, 8:05 PM

No i didnt loose my license. Thank fully.
Anyhow i think that the cop doubted the reading considering the type of vehicule i was driving. (I knew the truth though)
we work on a points system here in canada
Each infraction adds points to your file and when you reach 15, you loose your permit for 3 months unless its a DWI in which case its an automatic suspension for 1 yr.

Finn's speed fine is a bit rich

One of Finland's richest men has been handed a record 170,000 euros speeding ticket, thanks to the country's policy of relating the fine to your income.

You have to read the rest of the story and I will try to find out what happened in the end.

Oh and in case your wondering. 170,000€ is $201,858 or £114,903!

Jussi Salonoja, the 27-year-old heir to a family-owned sausage empire, was given the £116,000 ticket after being caught driving 80km/h in a 40km/h zone.
