That's the car I'd like to run on the nordschleife. Not a realistic option but since all is allowed, yep. track.

I'm curious on whether or not I would actually be able to withstand the smashing acceleration in one of the above funnycars. Drivers seem to speak a lot about how hard it is to stay sharp while the car launches because of the incredible acceleration. I'd never want to try top fuel or alcohol for obvious reasons but something in the 1500-3000 HP region would be an experience allright.

And then an offroad vehicle on a stadium track (not oval)

2. Mazda 787b or Mclaren F1 LM

Lotus Elise, no doubt. I haven't had the pleasure of driving an Elise yet, but I know I will some day, and that will be a good day.

'73/'74 Porsche 911 RS. That is a car that I know would try to kill me, but would be spectacular to drive.

And my all-time favorite car, the '64 Honda S600. I'd like to own and restore one some time in my life, but realistically that's a long shot, because they are super rare.

Wrong.

The plane flys, you pilot it. Which in a grand sense, you also pilot a car, it does the driving.

Awesomeness factor exponential.

I actually saw one of these in person at a museum.

Adreneline rush. I saw this too at the same museum. What was bizarre is the size of the cockpit. It appears anyone over 5'5" would not come close to fitting inside. Clausterphobics need not apply.

Im an aviation nut.

1. I would like to take part in the crew of one of the Volvo Ocean Race boats.

Doing 30+ knots without an engine, through rough seas (because with wind comes waves)... in the night. The water rushing all around you, coming all over the deck. The constant noise of the sea versus the boat. You need balls. I suggest you watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGUVWZnzHgI

2.

3. I want to ride with Sebastien Loeb in his C4 WRC. I really, really do.
People don't realize how awesome it would be.

That man looks like a beast of a driver, Breakfan.

I'd just like to comment on everyone who'd like to drive an F1 or an old Le Mans racer, do you know how much it takes to actually drive those cars?

They're faster than you can imagine. The suspension so stiff, the steering so quick, and the seats I imagine are not comfortable. Also, the cars won't reach full potential unless you drive them hard. I DOUBT any of us could take those cars to that point where the tires and brakes are warm hot enough where it's actually driveable.

Just saying. Anyway, the drivers in NASA, and their special series, that Ollie runs, and they participate in. They're tired, and sweating. They were out for a 20 minute "mini" enduro around Infineon or Thunderhill. (KONI Challenge races are 90 minutes and stints in the Thunderhill 25 hour are 150-180 minutes). Racing and driving race cars is serious business. Plus y'all'd have to suit up and wear crash helmets. Enjoy doing that with your final week to live.

My cars:

1.

2.

3.

For some reason all three just do something for me.

I'd be more than willing to take the E30 M3 but I think the aura of 414 horsepower is stronger.

1,001 horsepower is awe-inspiring. It's one of the fastest cars you can get for the streets and... If I won the lottery, it would be the very first thing I would buy.

The Chevy Camaro.... Mmmmmmm (Quizno's. Sry). It's classic and beautiful. I'll have a smile on my face when I die... And that'd be the order I'd drive them in.

I can only recommend. Cornering in this car does generally not include braking. It turns so well that it makes me wonder why my current car is convinced braking is an essential part of cornering
