Because E30's are boxy nerd cars and he wants 18 grand for it.

I'm not saying it's not worth it, because he literally did 99% of everything right, it's just not worth it to me.

*he used the E36 5 speed instead of the E46 6 speed.

the hardest part of his swap is bypassing the e46 electronics that prevent theft.... that's why no one swaps s54s....

good job on him...

e36 m3 gearbox >e46 6 speed

Negative. The E46 6 speed can hold more power and because of the 6th gear that actually has overdrive you can run a lower gear ratio out back and still have the car be livable.

I definitely respect the build, but I'd still rather spend $18,500 on an e46 or really nice e36 M3 for the handling.

I saw a glossy black Aventador last night. It looked pretty awesome, but you couldn't hear it. Maybe it's like all the other new sports cars with their fancy exhaust bypass buttons.
