You will not come down. You wouldn't even come down for brew fest or floating the Clackamas

Yeah, I had no money. Soon I will be able to. And you didn't invite me to float the Clackamas!

Actually, next weekend might be really rad. That'll be the weekend of the 18th, the show'n'shine car show and I'm bringing all of my cars. You should come.

So I had my first start up of my Jetta VR6 with the twin screw supercharger.

Holy crap it's loud. I ran it for about 15-20 seconds before smoke started rolling and I had to shut her down.

My fuel rail (which I shortened and welded) was leaking a bit of fuel, which was smoking on the exhaust, I think.

I also have a small pulley which isn't lined up just right and needs adjusted.

Two small problems, which can be fixed easily. The worst part is that I have to rip a bunch of stuff off the car just to get the fuel rail off.

I have video and pictures to come.

This is a little more than a whine. I'm actually not sure if there is something wrong with the supercharger or not, since its so loud.

No, just the whine that is associated specifically with twin screw superchargers. It just seems louder than it should.
