I can't look at any more of that thread. It makes me want a stupid Swedish brick, which is dumb, because my stupid German box isn't done being stupid yet.

God damn 240's are cool as all hell. I will have one.

Corny...You're half arsing the german box which is why it's being stupid..

If you don't "100%" the work on the german box your swedish box is going to give you 30x the grief for the same reasons..

Swedes and German beauties like the women....Take more special treatment than every other car because they are a rare rare breed..

Swedish beauties and German beauties are few and far between but the ones that ARE there are the most beautiful beauties on the planet......But are finnicky needy codependent complainty uppidy bitches if you don't give 100%

And nissan 240 > Velvet 240

Unless you spend the big $$$ on this

It's a DD and my only car. I do what I can when I can.

It's also been good lately, and I'm catching up on maintenance items, rather fixing broken things.

That volvo looks great in that shot, very subtle but once you see the seats, roll bar and exhaust it just pops out.

So Lotus pulled out of Paris Auto show.

Now that the CEO has left, Lotus in dire straits, and the parent company investigating Lotus' viability, the future does not look promising.

IMO, this s*cks. I love lotus, and the new Elan concept was freakin outstanding. The current Exige/Elise have been the same for YEARS and they wonder why people arn't buying new ones... The Evora was nice, but it wasn't really a Lotus. It was more focused on luxury and failed, from what I understand. I thought it still looked mighty fine though.

This judgement, along with a refusal to allow the Nurburgring's holding company to defer interest payments on the 330 million euros it already has on loan from a state-owned investment bank will inevitably tip the track into bankruptcy.

According to German regional newspaper Rhein-Zeitung, this means that the state government is no longer in control of the 'ring and thus the holding company will have no choice but to enter receivership. On top of the ongoing investigation into the suspected 524 million euros of 'unauthorised' aid, this casts serious doubt on the future of the iconic racetrack.

The paper does suggest, however, that the current racing season will continue as planned. What happens after that is far less certain.

The 2013 German GP, scheduled to be held at the Nurburgring's GP circuit, could even move to Hockenheim. Speaking to German motorsport blog Speedweek.de, Hockenheim boss Georg Seiler said (and please excuse our clunky Google translation): "We currently have no request to host the Grand Prix Germany in 2013, but I do see the possibility that F1 will come back every year to Hockenheim."

The Nürburgring is officially broke. According to various German sources, the only chance the owners of the 'Ring have to fend off bankruptcy is if the track gets 13 million euros of new life injected into it. Problem is, state officials have said it's not going to happen.

In other words, the Nürburgring will go into administration and its future will at least in part be decided in court. Also up for debate will be the legality of 524 million euros worth of funding that the state has already pumped into the track, an amusement park with hotels and a shopping mall that make up the local attraction.

Reports indicate that the rest of 2012 will proceed as planned at the 'Ring. After that, it's anybody's guess what will happen to the famous German racetrack. News Source: Rhein Zeitung via Jalopnik
