I'd say MV Agusta is more like the Lamborghini of bikes.
Now when I say that, I mean PRE Gallardo Lambo, back when they were nuts, and didn't work right all the time, and were outrageous, and weren't actually the fastest, but were the sweetest! Ducati is the Ferrari of Motorcycles. They have been since forever.

I rode the 1199.
Wait for the 848's sequel - the difference in handling and tech to the 10/1198 is massive, like going from an old 900cc superbike to a modern 600. Buying a trellis-framed Duke now is probably the dumbest thing anyone could possibly do. Anyway, then I rode one of these:  Done deal.

So, on Friday I picked up a 1979 50cc Honda Express. It's a neat little thing. A friend of mine was getting rid of it, and they said I could have it if I wanted to come pick it up. I threw it in the back of the Fit and drove it home.
I needed something to do because my project Miata runs so goddamn good all the time. It doesn't run. So, I'm going to make it run.

 Yeah, yeah, yeah, there you go. It's nothing really to look at, but it's vintage Honda coolness. I'm excited to get it going. Thought about making a rad rat rod Honda moped out of it.

i like it.... funky looking... but whatever you do... DO NOT CHANGE that shade of blue... freaking pimp.
maybe paint the rims, and fenders white and what not, to go with that Honda white/blue theme...

Holy **** Tak finally got himself a "motorcycle".
As soon as you get bored of that in about one week, go get a real bike...like this one!  Which is currently for sale in Northern Virginia.

lol, I don't need a fuggen motorcycle...I've got a Miata.
Tossers. The Moped will be a fun thing for me to turn wrenches on and ride up to the wine store on nice evenings. I don't even need a motorcycle license to ride it!
